    Abstract: A method of activating multiple secondary cells can include receiving on a primary cell (PCell) at a user equipment (UE) a first medium access (MAC) control element (CE) for activating a first secondary cell (SCell) and a second SCell for the UE in a wireless communication system. The first and second SCells can operate in a same band. No active serving cell operates on the same band for the UE. In response to that the first SCell is a known SCell, the second SCell is an unknown SCell, and both the first and second SCells operate in the same band that is a frequency range 2 (FR2) band, the first and second SCells can be activated in parallel without performing cell search and reference signal received power (RSRP) measurement and reporting over the first and second SCells.

    Abstract: A method of determining the maximum timing change (MTC) based on subcarrier spacing (SCS) configuration for UE measurement and reporting of a neighbor cell in 5 GS is proposed. During measurement procedure, UE first checks whether a neighbor cell has been detectable at least for the time period Tidentity, and becomes undetectable for a period ?5 seconds, and then the cell becomes detectable again. UE then determines the MTC of the cell according to the SCS configuration of the cell. If the timing change of the cell is <MTC, UE reports the measurement report less than a first period (T1) after the measurement event is triggered. Otherwise, if the timing change of the cell is >MTC, UE reports the event triggered measurement reporting less than a second period (T2) after the measurement event is triggered.

When the AP CSI-RS is configured as the reference in the TCI of PDSCH, UE may apply the updated TCI for the PDSCH, after the corresponding aperiodic report has been received at the network. Spatial relation switch is based on the valid measurement report.     Abstract: A user equipment terminal (UE) in a wireless network calculates a measurement period for measuring the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) for a serving cell within a frequency range. The calculation is based on a channel measurement resource (CMR) and an interference measurement resource (IMR). The calculation includes evaluation of a sharing factor P, which is a maximum of PCMR of the CMR and PIMR of the IMR. The PCMR and the PIMR are evaluated, at least in part, based on periodicity of the CMR and the IMR in relation to other periodic measurements performed by the UE. The UE performs a channel measurement and an interference measurement using the CMR and the IMR, respectively, over the measurement period. The UE calculates the SINR based on the channel measurement and the interference measurement; and transmits an SINR measurement report indicating the calculated SINR to a base station.
