  • Patent number: 11915954
Abstract: A die sorter tool may include a first conveyor, and a first lane to receive, from one or more load ports and via the first conveyor, a carrier with a set of dies. The die sorter tool may include a die flip module to receive the carrier from the first lane, manipulate one or more dies of the set of dies by changing orientations of the one or more dies, and return the one or more dies to the carrier after manipulating the one or more dies and without changing positions of the one or more dies within the carrier. The die sorter tool may include a second conveyor, and a second lane to receive, via the second conveyor, the carrier from the die flip module, and provide, via the first conveyor, the carrier to the one or more load ports.

  • Patent number: 9669465
Abstract: A cutting apparatus adapted for use in a machine tool. The cutting apparatus includes a mounting frame. A cutting unit is mounted rotatably in the mounting frame. A locking unit is connected to the mounting frame and the cutting unit, for restraining or permitting relative movement between the mounting frame and the cutting unit. A driving unit drives rotation of the cutting unit. A control unit controls the driving unit to drive rotation of the rotating shaft upon detecting that the relative movement between the mounting frame and the cutting unit is permitted. The control unit shuts off the driving unit upon detecting that the relative movement between the mounting frame and the cutting unit is restrained.

  • Patent number: 9383030
Abstract: A check valve includes a tubular casing, an abutment member, a valve member and a resilient member. The abutment member is flexible, is disposed in the tubular casing, and defines a central opening interconnecting first and second spaces that are defined in the tubular casing. The valve member is disposed in the tubular casing and is movable between a blocked position where the valve member blocks the central opening to isolate the first space from the second space, and an unblocked position where the valve member is spaced apart from the abutment member such that the first and second spaces communicate with each other. The resilient member is mounted to the tubular casing and biases the valve member toward the blocked position.

  • Patent number: 8517391
Abstract: A hydraulic chuck assembly for a tool machine includes first and second valve units disposed to control flow of pressurized fluids into a cylindrical chamber so as to move an annular piston to thereby move a taper socket along a spindle axis. Each valve unit includes a ball movable along a valve axis radial to the spindle axis such that the ball can be further forced to abut firmly against a valve seat during a high-speed rotation. Oil leakage can be prevented to ensure firm engagement of a workpiece with a collet head.
