Abstract: A screwdriver includes a seater which is formed with an axially extending polygonal hole that is defined by a plurality of curved locking sides, and a positioning member which has an annular rotary plate and a tubular portion that extends from the rotary plate and that is disposed in the polygonal hole. Each of the locking sides forms a curved clearance with the tubular portion. The clearance has two tapering end sections and a wide intermediate section. The tubular portion is formed with a plurality of axially extending positioning slits adjacent to the locking sides, respectively. A plurality of cylindrical locking rods are disposed respectively in the positioning slits. A drive shaft extends through the positioning member and the seater and contacts the locking rods.

Abstract: A telescopic shaft magnetic retriever includes a telescopic shaft having a conductive battery holder at a tip thereof, and an insulative and transparent lamp holder adapted to hold a lamp and a magnet for retrieving screws, nuts, tools and other steel parts from inaccessible places. The lamp has a first contact connected electrically to a pole of the battery set and a second contact. The lamp holder allows passage of light emitted from the lamp. The retriever further includes a conductive tubular sleeve which is connected threadedly to the conductive battery holder and the lamp holder and which has an end surface in electrical contact with the second contact of the lamp. The battery set, the conductive battery holder, the conductive tubular sleeve, and the lamp constitute an electric circuit. The lamp is switchable by rotating the tubular sleeve relative to the lamp holder.

Abstract: A hand tool set including a casing formed of two hinged shells to hold a handle and a full set of tool bits, and a lamp assembly mounted in a lamp chamber inside the casing, wherein the handle can be removed from the casing and attached to a polygonal hole at one end of the casing to hold one tool bit for turning screws; the lamp assembly has a self-provided battery power supply and is controlled by a press button to illuminate the workpiece.

Abstract: A telescopic shaft magnetic retriever includes a telescopic shaft having a battery holder at the tip thereof to hold an insulative socket and a battery, a lamp holder fastened to the battery holder to hold a lamp, and a transparent tube fastened to the lamp holder to hold a magnet for retrieving screws, nuts, tools and other steel parts from inaccessible places, and a control rod received inside the telescopic shaft, a spring mounted inside the lamp holder and stopped against the battery at one side, a control rod received inside the telescopic shaft and stopped against the battery at an opposite side, and wherein the battery is electrically connected to the lamp bulb causing it to give light when the telescopic shaft is extended out; the battery is electrically disconnected from the lamp bulb causing it turned off when the telescopic shaft is collapsed.

Abstract: A ratchet mechanism housing assembly includes an elongated housing which has an axially extending cavity that receives a drive shaft with a ratchet wheel, and an axially extending peripheral slot that is confined by a pair of opposing vertical walls, each of which being formed with a horizontal inwardly projecting shoulder. The housing is further formed with a horizontal bridge surface that extends across the shoulders, an inclined support face that extends rearwardly and downwardly along a rear edge of the bridge surface, and two stop walls that extend vertically upward from two sides of the inclined support face. The shoulders and the bridge surface support the ratchet pawls in the peripheral slot. During operation, the ratchet pawls abut tightly the shoulders and the bridge surface to prevent inclination and deformation of the ratchet pawls when the ratchet pawls engage the ratchet wheel and to permit generation of a large torsional force.

Abstract: An electric control device for an outdoor lamp includes a control box having a side wall that is formed with a through hole, and a rotary-type variable resistance switch having a main switch housing that is disposed inside the control box and an externally threaded tubular sleeve that extends frontwardly from the main switch housing and through the through hole of the control box. The switch further has a rotatable switch arm which extends axially and rotatably from an interior of the main switch housing and through the tubular sleeve. A nut retains the switch on the control box and is threaded internally to engage the tubular sleeve. The nut has an outer peripheral surface which is formed with at least one annular peripheral groove. A resilient washer is provided on a rear face of the nut and is pressed by the nut to contact tightly the side wall of the control box. An O-ring is provided on the nut in each annular peripheral groove.
