    Abstract: A mounting apparatus for securing data storage devices (10) includes a drive bracket (20), a number of first locking devices (30), a second locking device (40), and a spring (60). The drive bracket includes a first sidewall (21) defining a pair of grooves (29) for slidably receiving studs (15) of the data storage devices. The first locking device is pivotally mounted on the first sidewall, the second locking device is movably attached to the drive bracket and moves corresponding to the first locking device. The spring connected the first sidewall and the second locking device. When the studs of the data storage device are slid into the grooves, one of the studs is slid into the cutout and sandwiched between the cutout and the end of said groove, thereby securing the data storage devices within the drive bracket.

The support plate for positioning the motherboard thereon includes a plurality of hooks (34) extending downwardly and a plurality of conductors (50) mounted thereto. The clip defines two apertures (48). In assembly, the hooks of the support plate engage in the locking holes of the support plate, the conductors electronically contact with the resilient fingers of the panel, the protrusions of the panel engage in the apertures of clip to secure the motherboard to the panel.

In assembly, the catches of the support plate slidably engage in the catch apertures of the tray, the protrusions of the clip extend in the locking hole of the support plate to secure the circuit board to the support plate.

Each locking arm can rotate around a rotation section (31) of the connecting portion, and a locking hole (38) of the bent portion can engage with a locking block (28) of the fixing arm thereby securing the antenna in the slots.

The operator is rotated and the protruding bars engage with the cutouts to move the slider forwardly and compress the spring. The side panel is attached to the cage with the flange abutting against the rear panel. The protruding bars move the slider backward and the fastening portion abut against inner surfaces of the flange, with the operator released.

The drive bracket includes two sidewalls (11) defining grooves (12) for slidably receiving screws (32) engaged in opposite sides of each data storage device. One of the sidewalls comprises two supporting tabs (18, 19) each defining a pivot aperture (13, 17). The fixing plate includes two locking blocks (29) defined in a first portion (26) thereof, two resilient members (25) stamped from a second portion (28) thereof, and two opposite pivot axes (21) extending outwardly from a flange (22) thereof. The locking blocks are corresponding to the grooves defined in said sidewall, and the pivot axes are engaged with the pivot apertures. The fixing plate can pivot about the supporting tabs, thereby the data storage devices can be readily received in or removed out from the drive bracket.

    Abstract: A device for securing a computer data storage device in a computer enclosure includes a support frame having a top wall for supporting the data storage device and two side walls for supporting the support frame in the enclosure. Aligned openings are defined in the side walls for movably receiving a control bar therein with the control bar being movable between a released position and a locked position. Elongate slots are defined in the top wall extending in a direction normal to the moving direction of the control bar for receiving projections mounted to the data storage device. The control bar has a bottom section and at least a front section. Notches are defined in the front section through which the projections pass when the control bar is at the released position. Stop walls are formed on the bottom section offset from the notches a predetermined distance for engaging with the projections of the data storage device when the control bar is moved to the locked position.

    Abstract: A mounting apparatus for mounting a data storage device in a computer housing includes a bracket, a securing means and a flexible plate. The bracket has a first face for supporting a data storage device, a second face opposite the first face and locking holes in its front portion. The securing means is mounted to a bottom of the data storage device and is moveable with the data storage device to be slid into the corresponding locking hole of the bracket. The flexible plate has a rear end securely fixed to the second face and a front end that has an operating portion extending out of the housing for being operable to move the front end away from the front portion of the bracket. The flexible plate further defines through holes for engaging with the locking holes to releasably block the sliding movement of the data storage device.
