  • Patent number: 8128255
Abstract: A structure for securing a conductive strip of a flashlight includes a flashlight main body formed therein with a receiving space for receiving batteries. The receiving space has a lateral surface formed with a groove whose cross-section tapers toward the center of the receiving space and is configured for receiving the conductive strip coupled to a switch assembly, along with an insulating element corresponding in width to the conductive strip and having a predetermined length. Once installed in the flashlight main body, the conductive strip is separated from the batteries in the receiving space, thereby preventing the batteries from overheating, which might otherwise result from direct contact with the conductive strip. The main body further has a rear end coupled with a pressing portion formed of a pliable material such that a switch of the switch assembly is switched on or off by pressing the pressing portion.

  • Publication number: 20100165612
Abstract: A flashlight has a barrel formed with retaining elements located at a front end and a rear end of the barrel, respectively, and spaced from an outer periphery of the barrel. The retaining elements have oppositely facing ends each formed with a lead-in section narrower than the corresponding retaining element. A clipping device having a recessed end is matable with the retaining element at either the front or rear end of the barrel under guidance of the corresponding lead-in section while a projection formed at an opposite end of the clipping device is engageable with a corresponding one of grooves on the barrel. The barrel is concavely formed with a coupling section adjacent to the front end for coupling with resilient claws of an installation seat. Thus, the flashlight can be clipped on a user's clothes or installed on an object so as to provide illumination in a desired direction.

  • Publication number: 20090296042
Abstract: Eyeglasses having interchangeable frames comprise an eyeglass frame mounted with at least one lens frame. The eyeglass frame is formed with at least one receiving cavity having at least one first insertion slot near a nose pad portion of the eyeglass frame, at least one through hole having a same shape as a mating lens, and at least one second insertion slot adjacent to an outward end of the through hole. When the lens frame mounted with the lens is pressed into the receiving cavity, at least one first engaging portion and at least one second engaging portion extending from the lens frame are engaged with the first and second insertion slots, respectively. Thus, the eyeglass frame is stably combined with the lens frame through a simple and rapid assembling process, allowing eyeglass manufacturers to match such eyeglass frames and lens frames of different colors as needed.
