  • Patent number: 11595747
Abstract: A headset includes an earpiece coupled to a headband with a membrane coupling. The earpiece includes an outer housing and an audio driver positioned within and coupled to the outer housing. The membrane coupling includes a membrane insert composed of a resilient material. The membrane insert is coupled to the outer housing. A connection pin may extend through a central opening of the membrane insert and into an end of the headband in order to directly couple the end of the headband to the membrane insert in order to couple the outer housing to the end of the headband. The coupling of the end of the headband to the outer housing with the membrane insert in between defines the membrane coupling. The membrane coupling is designed to allow relative movement in six degrees of freedom comprising three orthogonal degrees of translation freedom and three orthogonal degrees of rotational freedom.

  • Patent number: 9768772
Abstract: Described are devices for automatically adapting electrical polarity from a power source to a specified output polarity for use by an electrical load. In one implementation, power adaptation circuitry comprising one or more bridge circuits accept electrical power of unspecified polarity and output specified polarity. The bridge circuit may comprise a plurality of field-effect transistors (FETs) configured such that a particular subset of the FETs are energized to conduct electric current to the outputs when a particular polarity is applied at inputs.

  • Patent number: 9520737
Abstract: An apparatus comprising a housing having a front portion and a slot formed in the housing, the slot having a plurality of different widths along a length of the slot. The slot includes a first width configured to support a first type of electronic mobile device in a first upright configuration at a first angle relative to the front portion of the housing, and a second width configured to support a second type of electronic mobile device in a second upright configuration at a second angle relative to the front portion of the housing. The first width has a first depth in the slot, the second width has a second depth in the slot, where the first angle is based on the first width and first depth, and the second angle is based on the second width and the second depth.
