The display panel includes a plurality of sub-pixel repeating units, which are arranged repeatedly to form a pixel array. Each row of the sub-pixel repeating unit includes an odd number of sub-pixels, where every two sub-pixels are regarded as one pixel unit, and another sub-pixel is added at the last column of the sub-pixel repeating unit. The odd-numbered sub-pixels are respectively written by N groups of pixel data. The amount of these sub-pixels is 2N+1, which is between two to two and a half times of the amount of the pixel data.
