  • Patent number: 5001457
Abstract: An electronic signal device for a set of pneumatic tires of a vehicle includes a plurality of pressure gauges, each respectively attached to the pneumatic tires, each pressure gauge having a cap unit which houses a switching unit responsive to the pressure in the respective tire and a signal transmitting unit electrically connected to the switching unit and activated when pressure in the tire is deficient. Each tire is represented by a binary code which is transmitted to a receiver circuit when said tire is deflated below a predetermined proper pressure. The receiver circuit is found inside the driver room of the vehicle and is electrically connected to a display means.

  • Patent number: 4982798
Abstract: An extinguisher includes a mounting seat fixed in the driver's cab of an automobile near the driver's seat, an extinguisher body mounted removably on the mounting seat, a resilient element depressing the push-button type switch of the extinguisher body, a hose extending from the driver's cab to the engine compartment in communication with the spray-opening of the extinguisher body, and a nozzle disposed at the end of the hose and directed to the automobile engine. When a safety lock is pulled away from the extinguisher body, the fire-extinguishing substances contained in the extinguisher body spray from the nozzle due to the fact that the switch is depressed by the resilient element.

  • Patent number: 4967180
Abstract: A pre-impact alarm apparatus which is adapted to signal the driver of a motor vehicle that obstacles exist in the path of the car while said car is backing up. The pre-impact alarm apparatus has a flexible sensing bar to be installed at a rear cover of a car which generates a signal that activates a buzzer to warn the driver when making contact with an obstacle, therefore improving upon the infrared alarm apparatus which can not warn the driver when the car is approaching an obstacle at an angle.

  • Patent number: 4852675
Abstract: A scale utilizing an oil pressure gauge for displaying the measured weight is disclosed. In the scale, there is an apparatus for intermediate transmission of sensed pressure representing the weight applied on the scale. The apparatus includes a bellows-shaped envelope having an open end and a sealed end and forming a chamber therein for containing hydraulic oil, a base member connected to the open end of the envelope and an air leakage member positioned on the sealed end of the envelope. There is an oil passage formed in the base member to enable the hydraulic oil in the envelope to flow out. An annular clamp is used for the connection of the base member and the envelope. A knob is connected to the air leakage member to block the air passage. The apparatus for intermediate transmission of sensed pressure may further include a plurality of rigid metal retainers outside of the envelope for preventing the same from overly deforming in a radial direction.
