  • Patent number: 7279765
Abstract: A pixel electrode employs a transparent electrode made from indium-zinc-oxide (IZO) that is capable of preventing damage and bending thereof. In a liquid crystal display device containing pixel electrodes, the transparent electrode is made from indium-zinc-oxide (IZO) having an amorphous structure so that it can be etched within a short period of time with a low concentration of etchant. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent damage and bending of the transparent electrode upon the patterning thereof.

  • Patent number: 7005239
Abstract: A method of forming a metal line includes the steps of forming a metal layer on a substrate in a chamber while maintaining a chamber pressure for a plasma to be equal to or smaller than 0.8 Pa, and coating a photoresist on the metal layer.

  • Patent number: 6952251
Abstract: A method for forming data lines of a liquid crystal display device, wherein a double data line is adopted as a data line while the contact resistance with a transparent electrode is maintained at the same level as in the conventional art, whereby about 150 seconds of sputter equipment use time for forming the triple data line in the conventional art can be reduced to about 85 seconds by forming the double data line. The double data line of a pad part is used as a source/drain region at a TFT part, so that a CD bias at the source/drain region metal layer is improved.
