  • Publication number: 20050264652
Abstract: A computer camera field of vision automatic switching device consisting of a computer monitor equipped with a camera that has a minimum of one roller ball switch installed in it, the signal output pin of which is connected to the input terminal of an image processor integrated circuit for capturing the control signal based on the position of the roller ball in the roller ball switch. After the image processor integrated circuit receives the changed signal normal status, the signal is transferred via the universal serial bus to a personal computer, where an image processing program determines the control signal value and verifies that the computer camera is at the rotated angle, the image processing program controlling image rotation based the determined angle of the computer camera lens and the quantity of roller ball switches.

  • Publication number: 20050189905
Abstract: A portable battery charging device in which the power plug base contains both a US specification plug and an EC specification plug, coupled by means of pivot posts and movably situated in the plug base. The two plugs can be individually or collectively rotated to lay flat or vertical. The conductive prongs and conductive pins extend through and protrude from the respective turn shafts as a first set of conductive tips and a second set of conductive tips. Two sets of conductive flexile elements are connected to a charging circuit board, the two sets of conductive flexile elements contacting the two sets of conductive tips. When the two sets of plugs are laid flat, the conductive tips are separated from the conductive flexile elements. Rotating either set to the vertical position causes the conductive tips of one set of lugs to be out of continuity with conductive flexile elements such that alternating current power from the other conductive prongs or pins is supplied to the charging circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20050068297
Abstract: A hot-key mouse is to position several hot keys on both sides of a scroll wheel of the mouse, excepting remaining original design of the left and the right mouse buttons, the hot keys are positioned adjacent to the scroll wheel and between the left and the right mouse buttons without hindering the operations of the left and the right mouse buttons. Those hot keys are pre-defined by functions for either the left or the right hand user to operate without changing another type of mouse. The invention enables the hot-key mouse to be commonly used by either the left or the right hand user, in addition, to reduce the manufacturing cost.

  • Publication number: 20040119692
Abstract: A mouse comprises an upper cover and a base; the upper cover and the base are combined. A receiving tank is formed in the base and is located at a position to be held by the user. A plurality of flowing decorations are placed in the receiving tank. Liquid is filled into the receiving tank from an injecting hole of the receiving tank. A plug seals the injecting hole so that the flowing decorations flow in the receiving tank. In another case, a container having a shape identical to that of the receiving tank is placed in the receiving tank. A plurality of flowing decorations are placed in the container. Liquid is filled into the container from an injecting hole of the container. Moreover, a plurality of light emitting diodes are arranged around a periphery of the receiving tank of the mouse.

  • Publication number: 20040095325
Abstract: A computer keyboard has a receiving space. A lateral side of the receiving space is installed with an inserting seat for being inserted by a charging seat. A lateral side of the charging seat is exactly inserted by a plug at an interior of the receptacle of the keyboard. A top of the charging seat has a transmission slot for installing a mobile phone. The specification of the transmission slot is designed based on the specification of the mobile phone to be inserted. The charging seat is made as a plug-in structure. The plug of the charging seat is made according to the specification of the charging seat of a mobile phone. Thereby, the mobile phone can be charged by the receptacle of the keyboard and thereby, a multi-functional keyboard is formed.

  • Publication number: 20030181027
Abstract: A surface of a semiconductor wafer has a first gate oxide area and a second gate oxide area. A first gate oxide layer and a photoresist layer are formed on the surface of the semiconductor wafer. A wet etching process is performed to remove the first gate oxide layer not in the first gate oxide area on the surface of the semiconductor wafer. The photoresist layer is then removed. After performing a wet cleaning process, a second gate oxide layer is formed on the surface of the semiconductor wafer. Finally, a two-step polysilicon deposition process is performed, the resultant polysilicon layer covering the first gate oxide area and the second gate oxide layer. The two-step polysilicon deposition process involves a first-step low temperature amorphous silicon (&agr;-Si) deposition process, and a second-step high temperature polysilicon deposition process so as to avoid the formation of particles and defects when forming the polysilicon layer.

  • Patent number: 6403443
Abstract: A method for reducing surface hump phenomena of a doped amorphous silicon layer. A dielectric layer is formed on the device, and subsequently, is patterned to form openings for exposure of the electrode surface of the device. A first deposition step is performed to form a conformal first doped amorphous silicon layer in the opening and on the dielectric layer. A second deposition step is performed to form an undoped or a lightly doped amorphous silicon layer on the first doped amorphous silicon layer and filling the openings completely. A third deposition step is performed to form a second doped amorphous silicon layer on the undoped or a lightly doped amorphous silicon layer.

  • Patent number: 6251035
Abstract: A sound and light effects ball structure, in which a sound and light element is fitted. As the ball is thrown, the ball structure will emit a light and sound effect. Its principal features are its transparent inner bladder and its translucence. Also, the inner bladder is sewn into the outer ball skin. The invention's features is a suspended strap that is connected inside and between the upper and lower sides of the inner bladder. Additionally, the suspended strap's center is affixed with a balance-switching sound and light element. The sound and light element is controlled by a battery. When the ball is thrown, its movement causes the sound and light element to move and emit the sound and light effects, which will be passed through the translucent ball skin. Furthermore, since the said sound and light element is secured at the ball's central interior, the centrifugal force keeps the ball from wavering.

  • Patent number: 5947616
Abstract: An improved key structure for computer keyboards includes two crossed support frames that, after pivotal connection, have center limiting rods projecting respectively from outer sides of the connecting position. Left and right slide rods respectively project from both sides of a horizontal rod at a bottom end of the two crossed support frames, with an inverted U-shaped groove disposed at a middle section and straddling on the limiting plates of the corresponding key base so that when the crossed support frames are compressed and lie down in a closed state, they will not deviate. Two opposite slide bars that orient inwardly are provided on upper ends of the crossed support frames. Four slide holes are respectively provided on a bottom face of a key unit corresponding to the slide bars so that the slide bars can be positioned in the four slide holes and cause the two crossed frames to lie flat.

  • Patent number: 5421659
Abstract: A keyboard includes a body having a number of depressions formed in the upper portion for collecting water, a-number of channels extend upward from the depression for slidably receiving buttons. A base is secured to bottom of the body and a casing is secured to bottom of the base. A number of conduits extend downward from the depression for communicating the depressions with the casing for allowing water collected in the depressions to flow into the casing so as to prevent water from flowing into the circuit board received between the body and the base.
