  • Publication number: 20120104578
Abstract: A method includes providing an interposer wafer including a substrate, and a plurality of through-substrate vias (TSVs) extending from a front surface of the substrate into the substrate. A plurality of dies is bonded onto a front surface of the interposer wafer. After the step of bonding the plurality of dies, a grinding is performed on a backside of the substrate to expose the plurality of TSVs. A plurality of metal bumps is formed on a backside of the interposer wafer and electrically coupled to the plurality of TSVs.

  • Publication number: 20030159579
Abstract: A cap has a body with an opening defined in one end of the body. A floor is formed in the opening and is parallel to an end wall of the body defining the opening. An annular flange perpendicularly extends from the floor in the opening. With a specific mold and a specific process, the cap can be formed with a die casting process without draft allowance. The process for forming the cap is simple and the cost for manufacturing the cap is low.

  • Publication number: 20030084550
Abstract: A strip safe-releasing device using ratchets is disclosed. A body and handle is connected by a shaft. Since the stopping piece of the body with respect to the handle is installed with a sliding groove. Thereby, the handle can be rotated so that the stopping piece is inserted into the sliding groove, then the convex portion ejects the buckle to release the ratchet. Thereby, the shaft is driven by the reaction force of the strip so as to release the tension of the strip. Since the rotation of the ratchet will synchronously drive the convex portion of the handle not to eject the buckle. Thus, the buckle moves forwards to engage the ratchet and confine the rotation of the shaft. Therefore, each time the shaft rotate through a few angles, the tension releases a little. Therefore, the tension of the strip is released step by step in a safe way.

  • Patent number: 6407840
Abstract: A power-saving infrared-detecting receiving system composed of a micro-controller serving as a main control unit of the receiving system, an infrared module powered through the micro-controller for receiving a modulated infrared signal emitted by a remote controller used together with the receiving system, and an ultra-low power-consuming and independently powered predetector For detecting a low-frequency infrared front guide signal emitted by the remote controller. The receiving system is normally in a standby state in which only a very low power is consumed by the predetector to detect the infrared front guide signal emitted by the remote control for triggering the micro-controller. When the micro-controller is triggered, the receiving system enters into an operational state and sufficient current is supplied to the infrared module for it to receive a complete modulated infrared signal emitted by the remote controller.
