  • Patent number: 9575680
Abstract: A method for deduplication rehydration is described. In one embodiment, a request to restore a backup image is received. The backup image is stored in a deduplication system. The backup image includes a plurality of data segments. The method includes determining locality information for at least one of the plurality of data segments. The locality information includes information regarding a location of the at least one data segment in relation to each other data segment of the plurality of data segments in the backup image. The method includes obtaining an identifier of each data container storing the plurality of data segments of the backup image, determining a degree to which the plurality of data segments of the backup image are processed by prefetching, and prefetching one or more of the plurality of target data segments from a data container based at least in part on a predetermined effectiveness threshold.

  • Patent number: 9407183
Abstract: A signal control system for a fan motor comprises an input end, a load driving unit, a first signal conversion unit, a second signal conversion unit, and an amplifying driving unit. A rotation speed signal is transmitted from the input end to the load driving unit. The first and the second signal conversion units are electrically connected to the load driving unit and receive the rotation speed signal. The amplifying driving unit is electrically connected to the first and the second signal conversion units to generate an operation signal. Thus, the received rotation speed signal is converted to the operation signal through the signal control system for the fan motor, achieving the effects of cost reduction, simplification, and convenience.

  • Publication number: 20150281507
Abstract: Systems and methods in accordance with the invention allow automatic recording, sharing, and communicating of different parameters associated with images and their imager to define a specific system behavior of a display device or an algorithm unit. Examples of information include imager parameters, environment parameters, image processing and enhancement parameters, coordinates of a section of wide-angle scene image content, display parameters, defined user experience, defined system behavior or any information to be recorded, shared, and communicated. To avoid loss of information, the information is encoded directly in the picture using a marker. This way, the information is robustly transferred from the imager to the display unit. According to the information, the final image can be automatically corrected and enhanced before display, different associated parameters can be displayed on final image or be used with another output.
