    Abstract: The disclosure is directed to a device to device (D2D) mobility management method applicable to a network entity and a user equipment and related apparatuses. In one of the exemplary embodiments, the disclosure is directed to a device to device (D2D) mobility management method used by a network entity. The method would include not limited to transmitting a service request message which includes an application identifier (ID) and a traffic type ID, receiving a first measurement report including a signal quality measurement which is measured based on the service request message, determining a topology type ID and a communication type ID in response to receiving the first measurement report, transmit an access request message which comprises the topology type ID, the communication type ID, and the traffic type ID, and receive an authorization of a network slice in response to transmitting the access request message.

    Abstract: Embodiments of a communication system, a base station (BS), a user equipment (UE), and a discovery method for device-to-device (D2D) communication are provided. The communication system includes a base station and multiple UEs. Each of the UEs uses one of multiple carrier frequency bands for communication. The BS obtains D2D communication requests of the UEs by the carrier frequency bands, and groups the UEs into multiple groups according to locations of the UEs. The BS allocates a discovery resource pool of a predefined carrier frequency band to the UEs in the same group and enables each of the UEs to transmit a discovery message corresponding to each of the UEs' own in the discovery resource pool.

    Abstract: A synchronization source device includes a receiving circuit, a timing adjusting circuit and a transmitting circuit. The receiving circuit receives a first synchronization signal from an Evolved Node B (eNB). The timing adjusting circuit adjusts, according to a timing indicator, a timing of transmission of a second synchronization signal in response to the first synchronization signal, wherein a timing of the second synchronization signal is corresponding to a timing of the first synchronization signal. The transmitting circuit transmits the timing indicator as well as the second synchronization signal based on the adjusted timing of transmission.

    Abstract: A method of performing a handover procedure for device-to-device (D2D) communications and a control node thereof are proposed. The method is applicable to a first control node serving a D2D communication between a first user equipment (UE) and a second UE. The method includes: determining that one of the first UE and the second UE needs to be handed over or both of the first UE and the second UE need to be handed over; transmitting a handover request to a second control node if the first control node determines that both of the first UE and the second UE need to be handed over to the second control node; receiving a handover request acknowledgement from the second control node; and transmitting a handover command to indicate the first UE and the second UE to detach from the first control node and synchronize to the second control node.

A first service cost rate is calculated according to the sharing rate by a logical controlling module. The CDN is controlled to accept or reject one or more new requests from the P2P network according to the first service cost rate by the logical controlling module.
