    Abstract: A portable electronic device comprises a housing and a chip card ejecting mechanism. The housing has a mounting portion defined therein. The ejecting mechanism includes a holder and a controlling module. The holder is slidably accommodated in the mounting portion of the housing. The controlling module includes a button and an ejecting element. The button releasably secures with the holder in the mounting portion. The ejecting element resistes against the holder to provide an elastic force for driving the holder slid. When the button is pressed, the holder is released and the ejecting element ejects the holder outwardly from the mounted portion of the housing.

    Abstract: Messaging service interoperability methods. A client implements a messaging service version (X.Y), in which X is a major version number and Y is a minor version number. The client sends a PDU (Protocol Data Unit) with version (X.Y) to a server. If the PDU with version (X.Y) is not accepted by the server, the client reselects a messaging service version (Z.H), and sends a PDU with the reselected version (Z.H) to the server. Reselection of the messaging service version and sending of a PDU with the reselected version are repeated until the PDU is accepted by the server or all possible reselected versions have been selected.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a card holding mechanism, which includes a housing, a retaining member mounting in one side of the housing and a sliding button slidably attached on another side of the housing. The housing defines a chamber therein, and the chamber is used for accommodating a chip card. The bottom of the chamber defines a through hole. The retaining member is used for receiving the chip card. The sliding button is fixed with the retaining button through the through hole. The chip card is accommodated in the chamber and is secured by the retaining member, when the sliding button is pushed, then the chip card with the retaining member are brought out from the chamber.

When the latching portion of the rotating element engages in different notches of the rotating element, magnetic force between the magnetic elements decreases so as to open the cover relative to the body.
