    Abstract: The invention provides a high temperature resistant Portland cement slurry and a production method thereof. The high temperature resistant Portland cement slurry comprises the following components by weight: 100 parts of an oil well Portland cement, 60-85 parts of a high temperature reinforcing material, 68-80 parts of fresh water, 1-200 parts of a density adjuster, 0.1-1.5 parts of a suspension stabilizer, 0.8-1.5 parts of a dispersant, 3-4 parts of a fluid loss agent, 0-3 parts of a retarder and 0.2-0.8 part of a defoamer. The high temperature resistant Portland cement slurry has a good sedimentation stability at normal temperature, and develops strength rapidly at a low temperature. The compressive strength is up to 40 MPa or more at a high temperature of 350° C., and the long-term high-temperature compressive strength develops stably without degradation.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for inhibiting the formation of dioxin-like compounds in solid waste incineration flue gases, belonging to the field of cleaning of solid waste incineration flue gases. In accordance with the present invention, when incineration flue gases cool down to 500˜450° C., the flue gases are introduced into an inhibition reactor where copper chlorides in flue gas particulates mix and react with inhibitors to convert into copper metaphosphate so as to inactivate the copper chlorides which can catalyze the formation of dioxin-like compounds and control dioxin-like compound pollutants in incineration flue gases at the source. Compared with the prior art, the invention can effectively control the main formation ways of dioxin-like compounds in solid waste incineration flue gases by optimizing inhibitors and reaction conditions.

    Abstract: A preparing method of an aliphatic polycarbonate is provided to synthesize oligomer monomers by a transesterification reaction of carbonic acid dialkyl esters and aliphatic diols with accelerants in an atmosphere of a protective gas, and generate an aliphatic polycarbonate polymer by a polycondensation reaction of the oligomer monomers in a condition of high temperature and low pressure. According to the disclosure, environmentally friendly compounds with low boiling points and low costs are utilized as the accelerants to substitute the enzyme or acid-base catalysts to prepare aliphatic polycarbonate polymers in the prior art, and the cost is reduced; meanwhile, in the process of generating the aliphatic polycarbonate polymers, the accelerants can be removed from the reaction system along with the pressure reduced in the reaction system. The synthesis system is simple; moreover, the aliphatic polycarbonate obtained by the preparing method provided by the disclosure has merits such as superior colors.

An inhibitory polypeptide blocks ROCK1 activity in the presence of 1 mM ATP. The binding epitope on ROCK1 was mapped using chemical cross-linking to the Activation Loop, a novel locus identifying a new class of inhibitory drugs. The peptides described will be useful against a number of important diseases such as heart disease, pulmonary hypertension, arterial hypertension, glaucoma management, insulin resistance, kidney disease, hemolytic anemia, stroke, ischemia reperfusion injury, or acute myeloid leukemia.

    Abstract: A double-sided LCLC-compensated network is proposed for a capacitive power transfer (CPT) system. In one design, four metal plates are used to form two power transmitting and receiving capacitors and the LCLC network is used to compensate the capacitors. In the second design, two extra metal plates are used to couple with the previous four plates at the transmitting and receiving side, respectively, which forms the capacitor-integrated structure. The circuit parameter values are tuned to achieve zero voltage switching (ZVS) of the input side switches. There is also a CLLC topology proposed, which is a similar variation of LCLC circuit. A 3.3 kW input power capacitive power transfer prototype is designed and built. The experiment results show that the proposed CPT system can transfer 3.1 kW output power through an air gap distance of 70 mm with a dc-to-dc efficiency of 92.1%.

The systems and methods receive speech input from a user and detect if a rule or sentence entry grammar structure utilizing a foreign word has been uttered. To recognize the foreign word, a foreign word grammar is utilized. The foreign word grammar includes rules for recognizing the uttered foreign word. Two rules may be included in the foreign word grammar for each legitimate or slang term included in the foreign word grammar. A first rule corresponds to the spoken form of the foreign word, and the second rule corresponds to the spelling form of the foreign word. The foreign word grammar may also utilize a prefix tree. Upon recognizing the foreign word, the recognized foreign word may be sent to an application to retrieve the pronunciation, translation, or definition of the foreign word.
