  • Patent number: 11644393
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a low-energy-consumption in-situ extraction system for lunar rare gas and an extraction method. The system includes a screening device, a grinding device and a heating device. The method includes: a. using a robot arm to collect lunar soil and put into the screening device, and screening lunar soil with a particle size below 100 ?m; b. adding and grinding screened lunar soil in the grinding device; c. adding and heating ground lunar soil in the heating device to 150-250° C., and releasing rare gases adsorbed. The present disclosure uses screening, grinding combined with traditional heating methods to achieve low power consumption in extracting rare gases on the surface of the moon, and extraction power consumption is only 10-30% of the power consumption of hot-melt extraction at 900° C. in the prior art, which is beneficial to promote the lunar resource utilization.

  • Publication number: 20230068184
Abstract: A purification system for nitrogen gas and xenon gas in water and a static isotopic analysis method thereof are provided. The system includes a sample container, a carbon dioxide ice cold trap, a gas delivery main pipe and a mass spectrometer for noble gas communicated sequentially. The gas delivery main pipe is provided with branch pipelines communicated with a cryo pump and a vacuum pump set respectively, the mass spectrometer for noble gas is communicated with the vacuum pump set, and the cryo pump adsorbs or releases nitrogen gas and/or xenon gas by setting different temperatures of the cryo pump. Inlet and outlet sides of the carbon dioxide ice cold trap are respectively provided with a first valve and a second valve. Fourth and fifth valves are respectively disposed between the gas delivery main pipe and the vacuum pump set, and between the gas delivery main pipe and the cryo pump.

  • Patent number: 11462395
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the technical field of calibration of basic parameters of mass spectrometers, and provides a method for on-orbit calibration of basic parameters of a mass spectrometer. Based on the characteristic that a molten silicate mineral can adsorb a gas in an environment, under vacuum conditions, a silicate mineral is heated to obtain the molten silicate mineral. The molten silicate mineral is put in an environment with a standard gas for adsorption, rapid cooling is conducted to obtain a standard sample, and the standard sample is preloaded into a thermal control device of the mass spectrometer. When the mass spectrometer enters a definitive orbit for testing a substance, on-orbit heating is conducted on the standard sample to make the adsorbed standard gas released into the mass spectrometer so as to achieve the calibration of the basic parameters of the mass spectrometer.

  • Patent number: 11442028
Abstract: A method for joint measuring argon-argon age and cosmic ray exposure age of an extraterrestrial sample is provided. The method for joint measuring determining argon age and cosmic ray exposure age may include: step A, sample packaging; step B, placing the packaged samples into a neutron reactor for irradiation; and step C, determining Ar isotopes of the packaged samples after being performed with a neutron irradiation and thereby calculating argon-argon age and cosmic ray exposure age. The method can overcome the defects of the prior art, and achieve high-precision simultaneous determination of the argon-argon age and the cosmic ray exposure age of samples.
