  • Publication number: 20150102994
Abstract: Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for gesture detection using ultrasound beamforming are presented. In some embodiments, a method for gesture detection utilizing ultrasound beamforming includes projecting an ultrasound wave parallel to a surface, wherein the ultrasound wave is projected utilizing ultrasound beamforming. The method further includes receiving an ultrasound echo from an object in contact with the surface. The method additionally includes interpreting a gesture based at least in part on the received ultrasound echo.
