  • Patent number: 11623371
Abstract: A UV (ultraviolet) curing apparatus for a contact-lens polymerization process is provided. A UV curing module is equipped for the mold cavities of contact-lens curing molds, including a plurality of first UV light sources arranged above the mold cavities and a plurality of second UV light sources arranged below the mold cavities. A plurality of light output areas of a first light guide device guides the light beams emitted by the first UV light sources to illuminate upper light receiving surfaces of the molds. A plurality of reflecting plates of a second light guide device reflects and scatters the light beams emitted by the second UV light sources to lower light receiving surfaces of the molds. Thereby, the contact-lens polymer inside the molds is uniformly cured, and the yield is raised.

  • Patent number: 11566965
Abstract: A contact lens retrieving method is applied to a contact lens, which is placed in a detection container containing a buffer solution and has been inspected in an optical detection. The method comprises steps: moving a vacuum sucker into the buffer solution at a first speed to make the contact lens depart from the lateral side of the detection container; moving the vacuum sucker away from a bottom of the detection container at a second speed with the vacuum sucker not leaving the buffer solution to make the contact lens flow toward a center of the detection container; moving the vacuum sucker to approach the contact lens at a third speed to make the vacuum sucker and the contact lens positioned to each other; and using the vacuum sucker to take up the contact lens and carry the contact lens out of the detection container.

  • Publication number: 20220179239
Abstract: A lens for slowing or preventing the development of myopia includes an optical portion and a peripheral portion surrounding the optical portion. The distribution of the refractive power of the optical portion is expressed by an exponential growth function. Assume that a specific condition is satisfied. The farther away from the center of the lens, the greater the change in the refractive power. Thus, a defocus area is formed to control and prevent eye myopia. Besides, the distribution of refractive power can provide a larger visible area in order to effectively avoid visual instability caused by lens sliding.

  • Patent number: 6282119
Abstract: A non-volatile semiconductor memory device for storing one of a plurality of different data values in an individual memory cell within a memory array. The device includes two circuits for producing two stepped voltage waveforms that are applied to the source and the drain of the memory cell to be programmed. The stepped voltages cause electrons to tunnel onto and charge the floating gate of the memory cell and the amount of charge stored on the floating gate is correlated to the data value to be stored in the memory cell.

  • Patent number: 5936906
Abstract: A multilevel sense device for a flash memory according to the invention is disclosed. When reading multilevel digital data stored in a selected cell of a primary cells array, the primary cells array generates and transmits a sense current to a sense amplifier. Then, the sense current is compared with permanent currents pre-established by a reference cells array thereby to determine/fetch the digital data. Furthermore, in the multilevel sense device, multilevel digital data stored in a selected cell are totally read out in one time. This causes more reading time saved.
