    Abstract: A method, an apparatus and a device for suppressing a first HVDC commutation failure under an AC system fault are provided. The method includes: obtaining a three-phase voltage of a converter bus, and calculating a zero-sequence component amplitude and an ?? component amplitude; calculating a first trigger-angle command for a single-phase fault and a second trigger-angle command for a three-phase fault selecting a smaller one of the first trigger angle command and the second trigger angle command as a trigger-angle command for an extinction-angle controller; and adjusting a trigger angle of the HVDC transmission system by using the trigger-angle command as an upper limit value for an output of the extinction-angle controller of the HVDC transmission system.

    Abstract: A laser fuel measurement device for the measurement of fuel levels within a fuel tank is disclosed. The laser fuel measurement device includes a case, a control panel, at least one laser sensor, and a microprocessor. The case is formed to fully house the microprocessor and at least partially house the control panel and laser sensor. The control panel may be formed on a first face of the case, and the laser sensor may be formed on a second face of the case opposite to the first face. The laser sensor is arranged to shine at least one laser beam or array into a fuel tank to measure fuel levels. The microprocessor stores and executes a fuel level average algorithm with which signals received from the laser sensor are processed to provide accurate and reliable fuel level measurements.

    Abstract: A method for controlling flow separation on a suction surface of a stator blade of an axial compressor/fan by means of micro air injection is characterized in that a stator blade of the axial compressor/fan is hollow and is formed by several two-dimensional hollow blade profiles stacked spanwisely; the blade profile is slotted to form a slotted blade profile; an inlet of a slot is at leading edge of the blade profile and an outlet is on a suction surface; when an airflow flows through a blade, a small portion of the airflow flows into the slot and then is ejected via the outlet; and the inlet of the slot exactly faces the incoming flow. The method can be used for an axial compressor or an axial fan to reduce flow loss and improve its efficiency.

    Abstract: Fast focusing methods and devices for multi-spectral imaging are disclosed. The method comprising selecting one of a plurality of imaging channel as a reference channel, adjusting rotation positions of a stepper motor, calculating focus measures corresponding to all rotation positions of the stepper motor, and obtaining a first distribution curve; in each of the other imaging channels, selecting at least three rotation positions of the stepper motor, matching focus measures at the selected rotation positions with the first distribution curve to obtain a second distribution curve and a offset value between the first distribution curve and the second distribution curve, and calculating a clear focusing position of the imaging channel to be focused according to the offset value; performing a fine-tuning focusing, and thereby obtaining a more precise clear focusing position. A fast focusing for multi-spectral imaging and obtain clear multi-spectral images is obtained.
