  • Publication number: 20140062899
Abstract: A method for driving a touch display for sensing a touch event and displaying an image characterized with a series of frames includes performing a driving operation for a display device of the touch display to display the image, and a sensing operation for a touch sensing device of the touch display to sense a touch event. The driving operation is configured such that for selected frames of the series of frames, the display device is not driven, and for the other frames of the series of frames, the display device is driven. The sensing operation is configured such that during the selected frames in which the display device is not driven, the touch sensing device is driven, and during the other frames in which the display device is driven, the touch sensing device is not driven.

  • Patent number: 8077171
Abstract: A signal regulator module includes a floating current regulator, a signal sensor, and a feedback controller. The floating current regulator is electrically coupled to a driving circuit and the light sources of a display panel for regulating the driving signals based on a feedback signal in a photo couple means. The signal sensor is electrically coupled to the floating current regulator for generating a corresponding voltage signal based on the driving signal through a photo couple means. The feedback controller is electrically coupled to the signal sensor and the floating current regulator for generating the feedback signal based on the voltage signal and outputting the feedback signal to the floating current regulator.

  • Patent number: 7714517
Abstract: A backlight system for use in an LCD display with a driver providing current sink control includes an LED array module, a current feedback circuit, and a current compensation circuit. The LED array module has N columns of LEDs and each LED column has M LEDs connected in serial, wherein the current feedback circuit includes N current feedback units and the current compensation circuit includes N current compensation units, both of the current feedback circuit and the current compensation circuit being electrically coupled to the LED array module. When the backlight system is in operation, a current passes through an LED column, a current feedback unit, and a current compensation unit to generate an output voltage that is used for comparison with a predetermined DC voltage, and the current is compensated based on the results of the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20070081356
Abstract: A battery cartridge includes a pair of outer frame members for receiving unit cells and an inner frame member disposed between the outer frame members. The unit cells are mounted between the outer and inner frame members. The inner frame member has a plurality of through-holes, which communicate with the outside while the unit cells are mounted between the outer and inner frame members. An opened type battery module includes such a battery cartridge. The battery cartridge and the battery module have a high structural integration and mechanical strength. Consequently, the present invention has the effect of minimizing the size of a battery system, stably mounting unit cells having low mechanical strength, and effectively removing heat from the unit cells.
