  • Publication number: 20110141249
Abstract: A stereo-image display device is disclosed in the invention. The stereo-image display device includes a polarization beam splitter, an image projection lens set, a first image unit and a second image unit. The first image unit is used for generating a first visual optical signal to the polarization beam splitter. The second image unit is used for generating a second visual optical signal to the polarization beam splitter. A polarization direction of the second visual optical signal is orthogonal to a polarization direction of the first visual optical signal. Two visual optical signals are combined to one beam by the polarization beam splitter, and are projected through the image projection lens set onto a screen.

  • Publication number: 20110141250
Abstract: The invention discloses a stereo-image display device. The stereo-image display device includes a light source, a polarization beam splitter, two image modulators and an image projection lens set. The light source is used for generating a parallel beam. The polarization beam splitter is used for splitting the parallel beam into two polarization orthogonal beams. Each image modulator is used for generating one visualized optical signal according to one of the beams and reflecting the visualized optical signal to the polarization beam splitter. Two visualized optical signals are to combine to one beam by the polarization beam splitter, and are projected through the image projection lens set onto a screen.

  • Patent number: 7548672
Abstract: The present invention provides a fiber-based light source device, which includes a plurality of first, second or third light-emitting devices for respectively emitting a plurality of first, second or third lights, a plurality of first, second or third directional couplers for respectively coupling the first, second or third lights in their order so as to generate a first, second or third coupled light, a fourth directional coupler for coupling the first coupled light and the second coupled light so as to generate a fourth coupled light, and a fifth directional coupler for coupling the third coupled light and the fourth coupled light so as to generate an output light source. With coupling light beams from light-emitting devices and switching of those light-emitting devices in a sequential manner, the energy loss could be minimized and good heat dissipation could be obtained.

  • Patent number: 7064833
Abstract: A double path microdrop optical biometric system comprises a micro container, a corner cube array, a collimator, a beam splitting device, a light source selector, a detector and a signal comparator unit. It utilizes the beam to penetrate a specimen with specific coloring agent twice. Then, the shade of the beam can be detected so that a signal comparator unit can calculate the absorptance. The required volume of the specimen used in the system is small. The precision will be doubled by the double path design. Its entire optic-electronic system is simple and at low cost. By using the LEDs, it can avoid the use of filter and solve the over-heating problem. Plus, it can execute many bio-chemical tests.
