The controller includes: a plug component configured to be plugged into a socket in a preset PLC communication network and a controller body component connected to the plug component and configured to receive a communication signal from a target device and transmit the communication signal to a device matching the target device, the target device including one of an air-conditioner indoor unit and an air-conditioner outdoor unit.

The channel switching processing method includes: acquiring a signal noise on a first channel corresponding to a first power line, wherein a communication signal is transmitted on the first channel; comparing a magnitude of the signal noise to a predetermined threshold; and in the event that the signal noise of the first channel is greater than a signal noise of a second channel, switching the communication signal from the first channel to the second channel corresponding to a second power line according to a comparison result.
