    Abstract: A method and device for indicating the amount of torque in a yarn is disclosed wherein an elongated horizontal bar assembly has supported thereon a movable cantilevered arm member and a stationary cantilevered arm member having yarn clamps for receiving and clamping the yarn thereto whereby the movable arm member is moved towards said stationary arm member and the point at which the yarn held therebetween twists together into a loop is noted to indicate the torque therein.
