    Abstract: A shifting module for releasable securement on the lower two arms of a conventional three-point hitch of a tractor and for laterally shifting a pull-type implement mounted on the shifting module. The shifting module includes a lateral support having a pin on either end section for grasping and securement by the lower two arms of the three-point hitch. A traveler is mounted on the lateral support and a linear actuator operates to shift the traveler along the lateral support to any desired position along the lateral support. A hitch on the traveler is used for mounting of the pull-type implement so that the implement can be reliably and accurately positioned along a desired path.

    Abstract: A shifting module for releasable securement on the lower two arms of a conventional three-point hitch of a tractor and for laterally shifting a pull-type implement mounted on the shifting module. A traveler is mounted on the lateral support and a linear actuator operates to shift the traveler along the lateral support to any desired position along the lateral support. Corner posts, releasable to facilitate compact shipping, are used to releasably secure a front panel and two side panels to form, if desired, a closed area. A lubrication system includes a shaft lube circuit for lubricating the input shaft, a pump, and a lube control valve for controlling communication of lubricant from the pump to the lube circuit. The lube control valve is operatively coupled to the disconnect unit so that when the disconnect unit is engaged the lube control valve blocks communication from the pump to the lube circuit, and when the disconnect unit is disengaged the lube control valve communicates the pump to the lube circuit. The lubrication system also includes a transmission lube circuit for lubrication the transmission. The control valve communicates lubricant to the transmission lube circuit when the disconnect unit is engaged and disengaged.

    Abstract: A mowing arrangement includes a main, mobile frame to which a base or first carrier part or frame is mounted for being pivoted vertically by a remotely operable hydraulic motor. Mounted to the base carrier frame is a second carrier part to which arms supporting opposite side and front mowing units are attached. The front-mounted mowing unit is mounted to the second carrier part through the agency of a fourth carrier part, in the form of a parallelogram linkage that includes the support arm for the front-mounted mowing unit. The second carrier part is mounted for pivoting about a transverse, horizontal axis so that the cutting angles of each of the mowing heads can be remotely adjusted by pivoting the second carrier part. A third carrier part is fixed for movement with the second carrier part and supports a drive transmission having output shafts respectively coupled for supplying power to the three mowing heads.
