Abstract: A bore hole inclinometer device for use in core drilling employing hollow drill rods, and a core barrel, the device having, an elongated casing dimensioned to fit within the hollow drill rods, and having at its lower end an attachment for a core barrel, and at its upper end, an attachment for the wire by which it is hoisted and lowered through the hollow drill rods, an inclinometer within the casing operable to respond to the inclination of the casing to provide an inclination reading, a sensor for sensing the inclination of the casing and providing an inclination signal proportional to the inclination of the casing, an electrical circuit for powering the inclinometer, for receiving the inclination signal, and, an electrical power supply for powering the electrical circuit.

Abstract: Inclination measurement apparatus having a housing, a reference pendulum mounted for swinging about one axis of the housing to respond to deviation of the housing means about such axis, an inclination indicator responsive to the inclination of such housing about another axis, and connected to such reference pendulum, whereby to adopt a predetermined reference position relative to such first axis, a movable locking device operable to restrain movement of such inclination indicator about such transverse axis and being releaseable to permit such movement, the locking device being movable into and out of engagement with the indicator device to secure such indicator device against movement about such transverse axis.

Abstract: A film storage and developing cassette comprising a closed elongated flattened box-like structure having top and bottom panels, side walls and end walls defining a generally closed light-proof enclosure, and film storage compartment means within said box-like structure, having generally rounded walls therearound, for storing a coiled length of photographic film, and feed passage means communicating between said storage compartment and the exterior of said box-like structure, for the passage of said film therealong, and film development chamber means within said box-like structure, alongside said film storage compartment means, and return passageway means for feeding of said film back into said box-like structure, said return passageway means communicating with said development chamber means, and normally closed port means adapted to be opened after exposure of said film, for introduction of developer chemicals into said development chamber.
