  • Patent number: 5683581
Abstract: A belt-type filter apparatus for removing foreign particles from liquid baths includes a basin containing the liquid, a filter belt which is constructed as an endless perforated circulating support belt and/or a filter belt fleece which can be wound from a roller and may be placed on the circulating support belt, a low pressure chamber with intake openings arranged in the basin and connected to devices for producing negative pressure, and guide rollers which act on the support belt and/or filter belt fleece in such a way that the support belt and/or filter belt fleece are introduced from the top into the basin, are conducted over the intake openings of the low pressure chamber and are then conveyed toward the top out of the basin. The low pressure chamber is composed of a cylindrical drum which is mounted in the basin so as to be rotatable about a horizontal axis. The interior of the cylindrical drum forms the low pressure chamber and the cylindrical wall of the drum has the intake openings.

  • Patent number: 5417850
Abstract: A band filter for the removal of foreign material particles from liquid baths, including a tub filled with liquid, guide rollers for a filter band arranged within the tub bath, the band being introduced into the tub from one side, guided with a spacing above the bottom of the tub and subsequently again conveyed out of the tub towards the top. The filter band being configured as a powered endless screen tissue band or as a filter fleece which is placed upon a support belt that is also driven in an endless manner. The filter fleece can in this case be unwound or reeled off a roller arranged outside of the tub, and a negative pressure chamber receiving the filtered liquid is arranged beneath the filter band. The faces of the filter band facing the bottom of the tub lie on a plurality of support faces extending transversely to the guidance direction of the filter band so as to be spaced from each other and parallel next to each other.

  • Patent number: 5105682
Abstract: An arrangement is disclosed for the detachable coupling connection of a brake cable line (2) to a fixed buffer block (8) spaced from an expanding lever brake (4), an encasing pipe assembly (5) surround the cable line (21). The encasing pipe assembly (5) may be two-part construction, a cable socket (6) and a thrust bushing (7) being adapted to be telescoped one over the other and secured together to be clamped to the buffer block (8). A fixing element (13) is attached to the cable (2) and a sliding bushing is fit over the fixing element, on interposed spring (21) and seal (27) fit over the cable (2) and extending between the buffer block (8) and lever (4). A number of encasing pipe assembly designs are described.

  • Patent number: 4392952
Abstract: A bar screen with a screen cleaner has a vertically movable carriage with a rake pivotally connected thereto by pivot arms. A foldable lever assembly is pivotally connected to the carriage and to the pivot arms and assures a fully extended position and a folded position which correspond to a position of engagement of the rake with the screen and a position of disengagement of the rake with the screen, respectively. A lower stop engages the foldable lever assembly and moves it from a folded position to an intermediate folded position at the end of downward movement of the carriage and before the lever assembly reaches fully extended position so that the rake remains in a position of disengagement with the screen during downward movement of the carriage and is held in this position until the lever assembly is moved to fully extended position in response to upward movement of the carriage.
