Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for mounting components on a substrate. The apparatus comprises a bond head with a component gripper, a first drive system for moving a carrier over relatively long distances, a second drive system which is attached to the carrier for moving the bond head back and forth between a nominal working position and a stand-by position, a drive attached to the bond head for rotating the component gripper or a rotary drive for rotating the substrate about an axis, at least one substrate camera attached to the carrier and at least one component camera. At least one reference mark is attached to the bond head or the component gripper.

Abstract: A high pressure mixing head for mixing reactive components in reaction injection molding includes a mixing chamber discharging into a quieting chamber and an injection valve for injecting reactive component into the mixing chamber. Recirculation passages for the reactive component are provided in the mixing chamber and internally of the injection valve. The recirculation passage internally of the injection valve is selectably opened and closed as is the outlet from the injection valve into the mixing chamber. Both the injection valve outlet and the recirculation passage internally of the injection valve are selectably throttleable.

Abstract: The resistance of plants to environmental factors such drought is increased by treating the plants themselves, their seeds before sowing or the surrounding soil, before or after emergence of the plants, with compositions containing aliphatic epoxymonocarboxylic acids containing one to three epoxy groups and 6 to 22 carbon atoms or the salts, lower alkyl esters, lower polyhydroxyalkyl esters, amides, monoalkylamides and dialkylamides thereof as active ingredient.

Abstract: Phenylpyridazines of the general formula: ##SPC1##In which Hal is a chlorine or bromine atom, R is a straight-chain or branched alkyl group containing 1 to 18 carbon atoms or a phenyl group, and X and Y separately are oxygen or sulphur, but not both oxygen, a process for their preparation and herbicidal compositions containing them.

Abstract: Phenylpyridazine compounds of the general formula ##SPC1##In which Hal is a chlorine or bromine atom and R is a straight-chain or branched alkyl group containing 2 to 20 carbon atoms when Hal is chlorine and 1 to 20 carbon atoms when Hal is bromine, or is the group --OR', wherein R' is an alkyl group of 1 to 18 carbon atoms which may be straight-chain or branched, and which have valuable herbicidal properties.
