  • Patent number: 11273362
Abstract: A steering axle unit (24) for chassis or skateboards, comprising a bearing block (1) and a steering axle body (98), wherein the bearing block (1) has a fastening plane (11) for fastening to a chassis or skateboard, particularly skateboard deck (52), wherein, in the assembled state, the fastening plane (11) is arranged on the chassis or skateboard particularly so as to be parallel to the designated direction of travel (25) of the chassis or skateboard, and wherein the bearing block (1) comprises a vertical axis CD (22) about which the steering axle unit (98) is arranged so as to rotate relative to the bearing block (1), an axle (8) that projects normally from the vertical median longitudinal plane of the bearing block (1) in the straight-ahead position being arranged on the steering axle body (98), wherein the vertical axis CD (22) is arranged on the median longitudinal plane of the bearing block (1) at an angle W1 (19) of less than 90° relative to the fastening plane (11) in the direction of the steering axle

  • Publication number: 20180029660
Abstract: In an aspect, a scooter is provided and includes a main body, a steering column, a front wheel unit and a rear wheel unit. The steering unit has a top and a bottom and is connected to the main body at a point intermediate the top and bottom. The front wheel unit is pivotally mounted proximate the bottom and includes first and second front wheels that are laterally spaced from one another. The front wheel unit supports the main body at least partially through the steering column. The steering column has first and second portions. The second portion extends towards the bottom from the first portion at a downward and rearward oblique angle relative to a vertical axis, so as to define a front wheel unit pivot axis. The steering unit is pivotable in a lateral-vertical plane to pivot the front wheel unit so as to steer the scooter.

  • Publication number: 20130307240
Abstract: The invention relates to a scooter with a frame including a footboard and with two wheel units which lie at a distance from each other in the longitudinal direction of the scooter and support the frame via wheel axles. The frame has a frame part which branches off forwards and/or rearwards with respect to the footboard, preferably lies in the vertical longitudinal centre plane of the scooter and supports at least one pivot shaft which lies in the longitudinal centre plane of the scooter, branches off from the frame part at a predetermined angle with respect to the standing plane of the scooter and defines a pivot axis for the particular wheel unit, and the particular wheel unit is arranged rotatably about the pivot axis such that, when the steering column and/or the footboard is tilted laterally, the wheel unit is pivoted with respect to the longitudinal centre plane.

  • Patent number: 5000445
Abstract: A skateboard-type sports apparatus has a frame forming a grip for the user and provided internally with a standing surface beneath which a pair of roller elements can be provided. The roller elements are rotatable in respective holders which can be rectangular frame members pivotally mounted on the frame so that a pin and an eyelet on opposite sides of each member define a pivot line for the roller. The rollers can thus pivot in planes substantially perpendicular to a central plane of the frame.
