  • Patent number: 4500300
Abstract: The rotationally elastic coupling makes possible the utilization of large twist angles between the two half couplings by converting the relative twist of the two half couplings into a radially directed translation by means of an eccentric link, a crank link or another appropriate movement-converting link which converts a rotational movement into a translation; the radially directed translation has an effect in the radial direction on sprung elastic intermediate links. The rotationally elastic coupling is particularly suitable for application in motor vehicle clutches and as a suppressor.

  • Patent number: 4482136
Abstract: An elastomeric loop used as a suspension device, for example for suspending exhaust systems of motor vehicles, includes a closed loop of elastomeric material in which a link chain is embedded, whereby the link chain improves the suspension characteristics of the suspension device.

  • Patent number: 4479638
Abstract: A self-activated and load-independent level regulating device for connection between two relatively movable parts includes a pump having a pump chamber and a piston. The pump chamber is connected to one of the parts and the piston, which is operable in the pump chamber, is engageable with the other of the parts such that the relative axial position of the piston in the pump chamber correspond to the relative position between the two parts. An elastically deformable spring chamber containing a hydraulic fluid is disposed between the two parts, and a supply chamber containing a hydraulic fluid supply is also disposed between the two parts. A first passageway is connected between the pump chamber and the supply chamber means, and a first control valve is disposed in the first passageway.

  • Patent number: 4458888
Abstract: A damper for dampening shock and vibration between two structural members includes a housing secured to one of the structural members and a flexible membrane body secured to the other. The flexible membrane body defines at least parts of three hydraulic chambers which are hydraulically interconnected through hydraulic passages, whereby dampening between the two structural members is effected flexibly by the membrane body and hydraulically by the fluid in the hydraulically interconnected chambers.

  • Patent number: 4432537
Abstract: In a hydraulic support, especially for supporting and damping engines for motor vehicles, including a rubber-elastic hollow body which is adhesively connected at its upper end, along its circumference, to a metallic ring which is closed by a cover arranged at its end face, the cover having a first abutment, and which is adhesively connected at its outside surface to a second metallic abutment, the hollow body being divided by an internal nozzle system into first and second chambers which are connected to each other, the rubber-elastic hollow body has, at its lower end, an integral cup portion which defines the second chamber of the hydraulic support and the second abutment is a generally cylindrical member surrounding the cup portion, the upper end of the cylindrical member being connected to the portion of the wall of the hollow body defining the first chamber, the lower end of the cylindrical member closed off and the inside diameter of the cylindrical member being larger than the outside diameter of the cu
