  • Publication number: 20190246931
Abstract: A method for producing an implantable multielectrode array includes providing a substrate carrying conductors each having a section with a constriction. The sections extend mutually parallel in a first direction. A portion of the substrate is removed to form separate first and second substrate parts separated by a gap. Each section extends in the first direction from the first substrate part across the gap to the second substrate part. A first force is exerted on the first substrate part, a second force is exerted on the second substrate part and the sections are heated to generate a fracture of the sections at the constriction. The fracture separates the section into an electrode protruding from the first substrate part and an electrode protruding from the second substrate part. An implantable multielectrode array and a device for manufacturing an implantable multielectrode array are also provided.

  • Patent number: 9351514
Abstract: The protein preparation produced from rape seeds has a protein content of less than 90% based on the dry mass, has a brightness L*, determined according to CIE-L*a*b* color scale, of at least 70 and also has at least water-binding, oil-binding and emulsifying functionality. The method for producing a protein preparation includes dehulling the rape seeds and a mechanical deoiling process, wherein only part of the oil is separated and/or wherein the process is carried out at a temperature, averaged over the duration of the pressing process, of less than 80° C., and/or an extraction process wherein the amount of non-protein material is reduced in the protein flour and then the grain size is prepared in order to obtain a pourable material having a predetermined particle size distribution.

  • Patent number: 4721562
Abstract: The aeration of dispersions, especially the aeration of fiber suspensions in a flotation apparatus 1, is performed with a ring injector 2 to which air is delivered through air feed ducts 11 in the mixing section 4. The annular gap forming in the ring injector 2 is thus aerated inside and out. The center core 7, which tapers in the direction of the greatest free cross section Q4 of the ring injector 2, is provided with a fin 56 which prevents the rotation of the dispersion.

  • Patent number: 4426241
Abstract: Fabric loops, intended for attachment to articles of clothing for example, are fabricated from a tape the free end of which is sequentially formed into a loops which are permanently closed. To form the loops, a continuous tape is delivered into a track which doubles back on itself whereby the advancing free tape end will overlap a portion of the tape, and the tape will subsequently be cut and the overlapping portions bonded together to complete a loop.
