  • Patent number: 8188628
Abstract: In order to connect an angle measuring device to a brushless direct-current motor, a coupling is used, the coupling halves (10, 28) of which are each attached to the rotor (46) of the motor and/or the rotor (42) of the angle measuring device. Instead of using a coupling that is rotationally symmetrical at arbitrary angular positions as in the prior art, a coupling is used in which the coupling halves (10, 28) can be connected to one another only in a finite number of relative angular positions. An adjustment must be made before the coupling halves (10, 28) are attached to the respective rotors (46, 52). This allows all subsequent adjustment to be omitted, for example, even for maintenance work.

  • Patent number: 8120219
Abstract: The production costs of electrical machines are to be reduced. To this end, it should be possible to use standard transmitters for different axis heights of the electrical machine. The invention therefore provides a transmitter cover for an electrical machine, having a pot-like hood (11) for mounting on the electrical machine and for covering a transmitter, wherein the hood (11) has a central axis. The transmitter cover also has a mounting ring (10) which engages on the hood (11) in an interlocking manner. As a result, the hood (11) is pressed against the electrical machine in the axial direction when the mounting ring (10) is fixed to the electrical machine. This can prevent fastening screws (13) colliding with other fastening screws on the motor, this possibly being the case when only the hood (11) is used to cover the transmitter.

  • Patent number: 7692356
Abstract: The invention relates to an electric machine (1) comprising a stator (21) and a rotor. The stator (21) includes at least one winding system having a plurality of coils (2) wherein start and end of the corresponding coils (21) is fixed on an end face of the stator (21) by means of a circuit support (7) and contacted in such a manner as to obtain predeterminable connections of the coils (2).

  • Publication number: 20100066191
Abstract: The invention relates to a rotor (10) for an electric motor, wherein at least two permanent magnets (18 and 18?) are arranged behind each other in the axial direction (with respect to an axis of rotation (16) of the rotor (10)), instead of a single continuous permanent magnet. Said permanent magnets are separated from each other by an electrically non-conductive separator (20). Thus eddy current losses are reduced and heating of the permanent magnets, caused by the eddy current losses, is greatly prevented. The separator (20) contributes also to increased positioning accuracy of the permanent magnets.
