  • Patent number: 4901810
Abstract: The invention relates to a safety device for selectively track-guided or road-travelling vehicles, which safety device exhibits on the road side an optical indicator device switched by a control device and normally set to "stop" signalling. In order to permit a change of the vehicle from track-guided to non-track-guided operation only when the sensing rollers are fully retracted, the invention provides that both a monitoring device monitoring the assumed rest position of the sensing rollers and signal transmission device coupled therewith are provided on the vehicle side. The signal transmission device transmits a signal indirectly switching the optical indicator device temporarily to "go" only in the case of the sensing rollers occupying the rest position.

  • Patent number: 4836475
Abstract: The invention relates to a safety system on track guidance lines for optionally track-guidable or road-going vehicles with pivotable feeler rollers. To avoid accidents which may be caused by travelling on track guidance lines with feeler rollers not extended or only incompletely extended, the invention provides for there to be a switch, which can be operated by the feeler rollers, to be arranged on each of the two transverse guide barriers, approximately opposite each other on the same level as the feeler rollers of the vehicle, at the beginning of the track guidance line. These switches, if operated together, switch via a control unit an optical display device, located downstream of the switches in the direction of travel of the vehicle, and normally indicating a block signal, to "clear line".

  • Patent number: 4613073
Abstract: A multiple-glass pane heatable from an interstice between the panes and a process for heating the multiple-glass pane. The interstices between the panes constitutes a condensation zone of a flat heat pipe with the heat supply being effected by vapors condensing between the respective panes.

  • Patent number: 4080007
Abstract: A brake force controller for vehicles, particularly automotive vehicles, with a back-control of the brake pressure of the pressure control medium for enabling various control conditions in response to input signals. The input signals are formed in accordance with sensed conditions including at least one of circumferential wheel force, pressure in the master brake cylinder, pressure in the wheel brake cylinder, a predetermined critical or limit pressure in the wheel brake cylinder, the pressure in the wheel brake cylinder when the maximum is exceeded which is stored, and first and second time intervals corresponding to the length of time predetermined control conditions are effective, respectively. In accordance with the signals, the back-control is effective for enabling control conditions of rapid pressure increase, pressure decrease, pressure maintained and gradual pressure increase.

  • Patent number: 4043608
Abstract: A brake force control system for vehicles, especially an electronic brake force control system for motor vehicles and rail vehicles, with a back-control (1) reduction control (1) of the brake pressure of the pressure control medium causing a reduction of the brake pressure when a maximum wheel circumferential force acting at the wheel is exceeded; the back-control being disengaged when the wheel circumferential force again increases after re-exceeding the maximum value whereby the engagement and disengagement of the back-control of the brake pressure is controlled by signals which are formed, taking into consideration the hysteresis effect of the control operation, by the signs of the derivatives with respect to time of the circumferential force and of the brake pressure.
