  • Patent number: 8591107
Abstract: A stand for an X-ray examination apparatus like a C-arm (4) is proposed. The stand comprises a movable ceiling support assembly for a ceiling of a room, a ground support assembly for a floor of the room and a holder (16) extending from the ceiling support assembly to the ground support assembly. The ceiling support assembly is distanced laterally from the ground support assembly and the holder comprises a mount (30) for holding the X-ray examination apparatus above the ground support assembly. Provision of a holder between a ground support assembly and a ceiling support assembly allows to position the ceiling-rail at a distance to a patient's area where the C-arm is employed. Therefore, no dust and debris from a ceiling-rail is released over the patient's area and a sterile air flow from a ceiling is not disturbed. By pivoting the stand through a pivot bearing (14) the C-arm can be easily brought into a parking position where it does not obstruct the patient's area.

  • Patent number: 6590969
Abstract: If a terminal (MOB_T) receives an incoming call and this receiving terminal (MOB_T) is not suitable to handle this incoming call, the receiving terminal (MOB_T) detects the service type of the incoming call, and notifies this service type to a destination terminal selecting arrangement (PRES_GATH). The destination terminal selecting arrangement (PRES_GATH) registers the presence and capabilities of all terminals (FAX_T, BB_T, MOB_T) within a certain area, and upon receipt of the service type of the incoming call selects the most suitable terminal (FAX_T) within the area of the receiving terminal (MOB_T) to handle the call. The destination terminal selecting arrangement (PRES_GATH) thereupon notifies the address of this most suitable terminal (FAX_T) to the receiving terminal (MOB_T) so that the receiving terminal (MOB_T) can forward the incoming call to the most suitable terminal (FAX_T).

  • Patent number: 6461450
Abstract: A process for controlling the layer weight during the phosphating of steel strip zinc-coated on one or both sides, using a phosphating solution which contains 1 to 6 g/l zinc ions and 10 to 30 g/l phosphate ions, characterized in that a Fe(II) ion content within the range of 3 to 100 mg/l is established in the phosphating solution. The higher the Fe(II) content, the lower is the layer weight. An alteration in the Fe(II) content of 3 to 20 mg/l results in an alteration in the layer weight of about 0.1 g/m2.
