  • Patent number: 7341263
Abstract: A hydropneumatic suspension having at least one suspension cylinder (10) and at least one hydraulic accumulator configured as a suspension accumulator (18) has a pilot-actuated valve (20) for opening or blocking a fluid-carrying connection between the suspension cylinder (10) and the suspension accumulator (18). The pilot-actuated valve (20) can be moved into the blocked position by a hydraulic actuating assembly (22). The hydraulic actuating assembly (22) taps the fluid pressure between suspension accumulator (18) and the suspension cylinder (10), and forwards it by a switching valve (24) to an operating side (26) of the pilot-actuated valve (20) through a pilot-actuated line (38). Another proportional valve (50), or such valve connected to the respective associated pilot-actuated line (38), can be between one switching valve (24) and the pilot-actuated valve (20).

  • Patent number: 7251936
Abstract: A suspension device is for at least one drive part (10) that is to be cushioned. The drive part can be connected to an accumulator device (12) by a first valve unit (28) and to a tank connection (46) by a second valve unit (34) to transport fluid. The device is provided with a pressure compensation device (50), which when actuated compares the respective prevailing pressures in the drive part (10) and the accumulator device (12) to generate a common pressure level. This comparison permits the pressure level to be rapidly compensated in advance when the actual suspension is enabled in the form of the accumulator device, in such a way that the suspension pressure employed exactly matches the pressure of the respective drive part in the form of a hydraulic or working cylinder that prevails in the later as a result of the preceding load actuation operations.

  • Patent number: 5413985
Abstract: The invention relates to a partially crystalline, transitional aluminum oxide containing 4-fold and 5-fold coordinated aluminum oxide in a ratio of at least 1:2. The invention also relates to a method of making this composition. The composition is particularly useful as starting material for manufacturing highly reactive molded articles. Accordingly, the invention also relates to this manufacturing process.

  • Patent number: 5385714
Abstract: Synthetic crystalline aluminosilicate is prepared by an inorganic process from a reaction mixture, which contains, in an aqueous alkaline medium SiO.sub.2 and Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 or their hydrated derivatives or alkali silicates and aluminates, mineralizers and optionally seeding crystals, the reaction mixture containing: SiO.sub.2 /Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 in molar ratio of 15-40, OH.sup.- /SiO.sub.2 in molar ratio 0.1-0.2, and H.sub.2 O/SiO.sub.2 in molar ratio 20-60. The aluminosilicate produced by the process has a chemical composition expressed in molar ratios as: 0-3 M.sub.2 O:Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 :15-40 SiO.sub.2 :0-40 H.sub.2 O, where M represents an alkali cation. The aluminosilicate is useful in the preparation of catalysts and adsorbents.

  • Patent number: 5089243
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of preparing crystalline, zeolitic aluminosilicates with SiO.sub.2 /Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 ratios of 20 or more. The method provides a rapid, two-stage crystallization process which avoids the formation of secondary crystalline phases. The first stage is conducted at a temperature between 240.degree. C. and 325.degree. C. for between about 1 and 20 minutes. The second stage is conducted at a temperature between about 120.degree. C. and 225.degree. C. for about 1 to 100 hours.

  • Patent number: 4506859
Abstract: A device for controlling the connection between a pressure medium source and a medium supply container is provided in a pressure medium operated system. The device includes a control valve with a housing formed with a longitudinal bore, in which a valve member is axially displaced between two end positions by pressure of the pressure medium. The valve member includes a piston and a seat portion facing a valve seat formed in the valve housing. The piston is of the diameter larger than that of the valve seat. A bore connected to the medium supply container is provided in the valve housing which is controlled by displacement of the piston.

  • Patent number: 4497375
Abstract: A force measuring procedure and a force measuring apparatus are used to control the power hoist of an agricultural tractor. The force measuring procedure operates in such a manner that the relative displacement of a point on an elastic system is detected by at least one Hall sensor disposed on either the elastic system or on the fixed frame with the Hall sensor being located in a magnetic field with a predeterminable magnetic flux. For this the force measuring apparatus has a flex rod attached to at least one of a pair of lower hitches which indicates the bending moment, and the Hall sensor is mounted with its detector surface essentially in the primary plane of bending deformation of the flex rod and is connected to the control circuit of the power hoist.
