  • Publication number: 20140078257
Abstract: A method is provided for visualization of three-dimensional objects on a person. Electro-magnetic radiation is emitted toward a person. Electro-magnetic radiation reflected by the person is received and processed to obtain a three-dimensional representation in a form of an elevation profile of the person. If the elevation profile has a detected surface with a reflection coefficient that is different from a reflection coefficient of at least one neighboring surface and the detected surface has a stepped transition toward at least one neighboring surface, then the object characterized by the detected surface is projected onto a photographic representation of the person in the place where the detected surface has been detected.

  • Publication number: 20130214165
Abstract: A method is provided for examining mail items with regard to dangerous contents. In a first step, the mail item is scanned in such a manner that the contours of the contents of the mail item are made visible. After an evaluation of the contents of the mail item, a spectral analysis of the content of the mail item occurs in a second step in pre-determinable areas of the mail item.

  • Publication number: 20130127135
Abstract: A corrugation bellows for a transfer between two articulated vehicles has a plurality of corrugations which are generally U-shaped in cross-section. Two adjacent corrugations are connected together by a frame. The corrugations may have a web interconnecting two limbs, with the web being substantially planar in a substantially neutral state of the bellows. The limbs extend at right angles to the web in a substantially neutral state of the bellows.
