  • Publication number: 20240112302
Abstract: An apparatus includes a processor configured to determine a set of geometric relationships in relation to a set of object representations within a computer aided design model, where each geometric relationship is represented by a number, and is configured to determine a set of intervals within the set of geometric relationships that meet a resolution interval criterion, where each interval is a numerical range that does not include numbers representing the geometric relationships, and is configured to select a set of resolution values. Each resolution value is within one of the intervals according to a resolution setting criterion. The processor is configured to update the CAD model by implementing the set of resolution values, generate instructions for controlling a manufacturing process using the updated CAD model, and output the instructions to a manufacturing system for control of the manufacturing process according to the instructions.

  • Patent number: 10345790
Abstract: A method of deriving an offset profile of a parametric curve includes generating an offset parametric curve corresponding to a received profile of the product represented as a parametric curve based on user input. If no self-intersections in a created spline approximation of the generated offset parametric curve are present, the process is terminated and the offset parametric curve is output as the offset profile of the parametric curve. If self-intersection is present for the spline approximation, the spline curve is split at one or more self-intersections and removed from the spline approximation of the offset parametric curve to form a modified spline approximation. Computing the self-intersections in the modified spline approximation is repeated until no self-intersection is present. The modified spline approximation of the offset parametric curve is then output as the offset profile of the parametric curve.

  • Patent number: 10183299
Abstract: An input plenum is disclosed for mounting to an air conditioning/heating unit. The input plenum comprises an air filter track for introducing and removing the air filter. A grid array track is located within the input plenum. The grid array track enables a grid array and an electronic generator to be added to the plenum to upgrade the plenum into an air purification system. An improved one-piece grid may be incorporated into the grid array for generating an electric field in the air purification system.

  • Patent number: 10155228
Abstract: An improved ceiling mounted air treatment system is disclosed for installation upon a ceiling grid system having a plurality of ceiling panels within a room. The improved ceiling mounted air treatment system comprises a ceiling plenum defining a plurality of side walls, a top wall and a bottom wall. The plurality of side walls are dimensioned for replacing a ceiling panel of the ceiling grid system. An air input and an air output are defined in the bottom wall. A grid array is disposed within the plenum and located between the air input and the air output. An electronic generator is connected to the grid array for treating the flow of air through the grid array. A fan is interposed between the air input and the air output for establishing the flow of air from the room into the air input to exit from the air output into the room.
