  • Patent number: 4508213
Abstract: A hydraulic take-up device for removing slack and applying constant and adjustable tension on an endless conveyor belt or chain. The device characterized by having a hydraulic cylinder which applies continuous pressure on take-up bearings surrounding a take-up shaft mounted at one end of a conveyor.

  • Patent number: 4467914
Abstract: This invention is a means for aligning and securing adjacent conveyor trough structures which involves a conveyor trough means of specific design and an alignment and anchor wedge member that is easily usable to assure proper rigid connection and alignment of adjacent conveyor trough means. The alignment and anchor wedge member is of a special design and driven as a wedge between adjacent ends of the conveyor trough means to be interconnected and acts to positively align the conveyor chain support members which is of extreme importance to reduce wear and maintenance.

  • Patent number: 4250987
Abstract: This invention is a flow control gate apparatus mounted between a discharge opening of a hopper assembly and between a portion of a conveyor assembly operable to control amount of grain or the like being discharged into the interior of the conveyor means. The conveyor assembly includes a conveyor housing having a conveyor chain assembly mounted therein with spaced flight members to move the material laterally. The slide gate assembly is movable to opened and closed positions and control size of the discharge through the conveyor assembly having a horizontally movable slide gate member actuated by a control handle assembly. The control handle assembly includes a rack member secured to the slide gate member, a handle member mounted on a support shaft, and a pinion gear mounted on the support shaft engagable with the rack member to longitudinally move the slide gate member. The slide gate assembly is very compact requiring little vertical height so it can be easily installed in existing conveyor assembly system.

  • Patent number: 4222482
Abstract: A conveyor for handling free-flowing material such as grain products or the like. The conveyor characterized by having a bottom liner and side liners. The liners are replaceable and greatly increase the wear life of a conveyor housing. The liners also reduce drag and wear on an endless chain and flights attached thereto while reducing horsepower requirements in the conveying of the material.

  • Patent number: 4186832
Abstract: An improved conveyor for handling free-flowing material wherein the conveyor includes an endless chain with flights thereon or a screw. The conveyor having a metal round bottom trough receiving a "U" shaped liner contoured to fit on top of the trough. A plurality of resilient pressure blocks butting against the edges of the liner to allow the liner to contract and expand transverse to the length of the liner on top of the trough without causing the liner to buckle or become distorted. The liner is replaceable and greatly increases the wear life of the trough. The liner also reduces drag and wear of the flights or screw and reduces the horsepower requirements in the conveying of the free-flowing material.
