  • Publication number: 20250074759
Abstract: A cleaning system for a beverage dispenser, the system comprising: a water source; a cleaner solution source and/or a sanitizer solution source; at least one cleanable ingredient circuit of the beverage dispenser which is in fluid connection with the water source, and the cleaner solution source and/or sanitizer solution source; a first conduit for connecting the water source to the at least one cleanable ingredient circuit via a sensor; at least one second conduit for connecting the cleaner solution source and/or sanitizer solution source to the first conduit via at least one pump prior to the sensor, thereby forming a mixture of the water, a cleaner solution, and/or a sanitizing solution; and a controller for: (a) receiving a first signal from the sensor representative of electrical conductivity of the mixture, whereby the controller calculates a dilution ratio of the mixture from the electrical conductivity; and/or (b) receiving a second signal from the sensor indicative of a flow rate of the mixture passi

  • Publication number: 20240351079
Abstract: A method of establishing a baseline strength of a chemical mixture flowing through a cleanable circuit of a beverage dispenser by allowing incoming water to flow through said cleanable circuit while measuring a total flow rate Qtot; providing a pump connected to said cleanable circuit that can pump a chemical into said incoming flowing water of said cleanable circuit; calculating a required chemical flow rate Qchem value to achieve a desired value of dilution ratio (DR) by utilizing said desired value of DR and said measured value of said total flow rate Qtot in a predefined equation; determining from said required chemical flow rate Qchem value a required pump excitation voltage by performing at least one step selected from the group consisting of an Equation-Based Pump Voltage Determination Step, and a Calibration-Based Pump Voltage Determination Step; and performing an EC Baselining Step on said cleanable circuit, whereby an ECbaseline value is obtained for use as a baseline strength for comparing cleaning

  • Patent number: 8865989
Abstract: Important new descriptors (Down Force Slope and Up Force Slope), which more fully and meaningfully characterize the continuous Down Force and Up Force are revealed. Similar descriptors are also created to more fully characterize the Balance Force and Frictional Force curves. The invention also discloses various methods and means for accurately testing, measuring and determining other parameters (including the position of the at-rest key, key sluggishness, and others characterizing the “let-off” event) in an accurate and efficient manner. Methods of quantifying and measuring the actual inertia of a key action—in a non-invasive manner—are also disclosed, with several inertial parameters being defined. Methods for quantifying and measuring the actual inertia of the major individual components of a key action are also detailed, along with parameters and methods for expressing their contribution “at the key”.

  • Patent number: 7377848
Abstract: A variable air circulation system for the cab enclosure of an off-highway vehicle is disclosed and described. The system provides for adjustment of the ratio between fresh air circulation and recirculation of cab air. Fresh air is introduced into the cab through a fresh air inlet having a fresh air filter therein. The air inlet leads to a circulation conduit. When a cab door is opened, a valve to the conduit is opened. When the door is closed, the air pulse created in the cab is effective, through the valve, to dislodge dust and dirt from the filter.

  • Patent number: 7338357
Abstract: A fixed air circulation system for the cab enclosure of an off-highway vehicle is disclosed. Fresh air is introduced into the cab through a fresh air inlet having a fresh air filter therein. The air inlet leads, through a manifold or fresh air duct, to the inside of the operator's compartment. When a cab door is opened, a bypass valve to the conduit is opened. When the door is closed, the air pulse created in the cab is effective, through the bypass valve or normal openings with the blower off, to dislodge dust and dirt from the filter.
