Abstract: A television control device including: a housing including a motion detector and a controller; the controller having a first facility that anticipates a state of a television and a second facility that sends a wireless signal to the television, wherein the first facility changes a state of the controller between a first controller state and a second controller state and the second facility selectively sends a predetermined wireless signal to the television, depending on the state of the controller, in response to an absence of movement during period of time being detected by the motion detector.
