  • Publication number: 20100327019
Abstract: A disposable pump for a liquid dispensing system having a compressible container, includes a chamber in which the pressure may be varied for pumping liquid from the container to the chamber, and further from the chamber to a dispensing opening, the chamber enclosing an inner valve for regulating a flow of liquid between the container and the chamber, and an outer valve for regulating a flow of liquid between the chamber and the dispensing opening. The pump may assume a closed position, in which a volume of liquid is drawn from the container to the chamber by a negative pressure created in the chamber, and a dispensing position, in which a volume of liquid is drawn from the chamber to the dispensing opening. The inner valve is a one-way valve, which opens for a flow of liquid in the dispensing direction at an inner valve opening pressure acting in the dispensing direction, and closes for any pressure acting in an opposite direction.

  • Publication number: 20100320226
Abstract: A disposable pump for a liquid dispensing system including a compressible container, includes—a housing forming a chamber and a dispensing opening wherein the pressure in the chamber may be varied for pumping liquid from the container to the chamber, and from the chamber to the dispensing opening, and a regulator fixedly arranged in the chamber for regulating a flow of liquid between the container and the chamber and between the chamber and the dispensing opening, the regulator including an outer valve for regulating the flow between the chamber and the dispensing opening. The pump may assume a closed position, in which a volume of liquid is drawn from the container to the chamber by a negative pressure created in the chamber, and a dispensing position, in which a volume of liquid is drawn from the chamber to the dispensing opening.

  • Publication number: 20100126954
Abstract: A device designed to be mounted in a complete container, the device comprising a container neck (3), in which a valve membrane (2) is mounted and fixed, the membrane having an opening (8) in its centre, which interacts with a central pin (9), which is a part of the neck (3), and the membrane and its opening sealing the container, since the membrane with a certain surface pressure till be pressed against the central pin (9), and that the membrane, directly subsequent to an emptying or a partial emptying continuously closes the container anew, this being done without any air flowing backwards and into the partially emptied container.

  • Publication number: 20060261098
Abstract: The present invention relates to a dispensing apparatus at a container (1) for a liquid or several liquids or at a conduit. The front wall (2) of the container or the like has a dispensing tube (3), which is provided with a seat-forming holding element (10) for a valve body (20). According to the invention the valve body is mounted concentrically in the tube opening (8), has a rod-like shape (21) and is with an outer end (22) guided by said holding element (10) and with an inner end (26) of a cup spring (28), which surrounds it and which at least in its rest or closing position is designed as a cone, which is open towards the first-mentioned end and which is supported by and is prestressed against the inner side of said front wall (2) or a corresponding wall in said dispensing tube or the like (3).

  • Patent number: 6029864
Abstract: A container (1) for petrochemical products comprises a pour adapter (19), provided with a pour spout (20) and is parallelepiped-shaped, the pour adapter (19) being disposed within an upper corner area (recess 28). In order to control and facilitate respectively a tilting of the container always in a direction towards the pour adapter (19) partly a diagonally disposed handle (9) in the top side (2) of the container is provided and partly on the bottom side (3) of the container a depression (13). Provided one hand seizes the handle and the other hand holds the depression, an automatically controlling outflow moment diagonally through the container towards the pour adapter (19) is simultaneously attained. The pour spout (20) can be swung out from an entirely recessed position into a diagonally outwardly bent position. Also, particular means (11) for filing and/or ventilation are provided, possibly via means mounted in the handle.

  • Patent number: 5573147
Abstract: A container (1) for a lubricant has a cap (2) for sealing off one end (4) of a cylindrical tube (2). The cap (2) shows a bottom (19), from the periphery of which extends in an axial direction a circumferential interior ring part (17), which faces the inside of said tube end (4). The cap (3) rests, with a radially extended ring part (16) connected to said interior ring part (17), upon a radial end surface of said tube end (4). According to the invention, the latter end shows a circumferential flange edge pointed obliquely inwardly towards the central part of the tube (2) and being intended to act upon an exterior circumferential bulge (24) on the outside of cap wall (17). For optimal insertion into the tube (2) and passing said edge (18), said bulge (24) downwardly forms a longer bevel (24) with a minor style in relation to said wall (17), while for optimal locking, said bulge (24) is upwardly more acutely rounded close to said lateral wall (17).

  • Patent number: 5535924
Abstract: A container (1) for a lubricant has a cap (31) for sealing of one end (50) of a cylindrical tube (2). The cap shows a bottom (32), from the periphery of which extends in an axial direction a circumferential interior collar (36), which abuts the inside of the tube end and has a double function, namely a sealing function and a second function as a plunger for feeding out the tube contents by the use of a device such as a plunger rod of a pistol-like tool as known per se. To this purpose, the delimitation edge of the interior collar (36) which is turned away from the bottom connects to a bridge (39) located within a radial plane and leading to an exterior collar (40) which is concentric with the interior collar and surrounds the tube end together with the interior collar and the bridge. This cap is provided with a groove-like circumferential weakened part (38) permitting release of the bottom (32) during the transition to a plunger function.
