  • Patent number: 6065587
Abstract: Apparatus for single file transporting of bottles and molded articles from a mass of initially disposed horizontally and standing bottles and molded articles includes a receiving container made of dimensionally stable material, with the interior space of this container being open at the top and receiving a molded article in the horizontal position. Each receiving container removes an individual article from the mass of molded articles with the help of a transporting unit, and the molded articles and receiving container are together received by a processing machine.

  • Patent number: 4949834
Abstract: The apparatus serves for the righting and arraying of oblong shaped parts from a reclining into a standing position with a filling opening lying above and following transfer to a transport device. It has a circular turntable, the shaft of which is set obliquely to the vertical, there being provided around the turntable a cylindrical housing open at the top, which is cylindrical under the turntable. About the turntable there are arranged ring segments which present individual downward-converting fall shafts, there being provided above the fall shafts reclining spaces provided with levers for orienting the reclining parts to an upright position.

  • Patent number: 4537230
Abstract: The subject of the invention is an apparatus for moving dispensing pistons (5) and filling tubes (18) in the charging of containers, it being necessary on the one hand during the dispensing and depending on the filling product, to vary the rate and on the other hand to suit the travel rate of the filling tube to the rising filling level. This is achieved substantially by the fact that the dispensing piston (5) and the filling tube (18) are operated in each case with the assistance of screwed spindles (7 and 11), the drive being provided through infinitely variable electric motors (10, 12). Programmes can very readily be set for the individual movements, the drive being controlled for this purpose and the spindles (7, 11) being particularly suitable for the transmission of the movement.

  • Patent number: 4309820
Abstract: An apparatus for inserting a closure with a feedpipe into a container comprises a drum arranged for rotation and having a circumferential wall defining outwardly open recesses for holding the closures with feedpipes, and a guide sheet fixedly mounted adjacent the circumferential wall and covering a portion thereof. The guide sheet has two end edges extending in the planes of the end faces of the drum and two oblique side edges downwardly inclined in the direction of rotation of the drum.

  • Patent number: 4309859
Abstract: A collet head at a sealing machine which includes a bushing having a gripper for accommodating a seal, characterized by a flexible diaphragm radially compressible by pressure fluid to apply contractible forces to a segmented gripper jaw.

  • Patent number: 4277929
Abstract: In a machine for screwing a threaded closure on a threaded neck of a container: a gripping head mounted on the machine frame, the gripping head comprising a pair of spaced-apart gripping spindles rotatably mounted in the machine frame, each gripping spindle having a clamping head including a radially convex membrane, the membranes being arranged and spaced for gripping the closure therebetween, and a drive spindle mounted between the gripping spindles.

  • Patent number: 4130194
Abstract: Elongated articles are randomly received through the open top of a housing in which an inclined disc is rotatably mounted. The disc has a circumferential edge adjacent the housing and the edge defines equidistantly spaced openings capable of permitting article to pass therethrough into shafts associated therewith and descending therefrom. A stationary annular support plate is mounted in a plane immediately below the plane of the disc and in registry with the openings, the support plate defining an opening at the zenith of the disc for permitting communication between a respective one of the openings in the circumferential disc edge and the shaft associated therewith. This shaft has a perpendicular axis whereby the randomly received articles gravitate to the nadir of the disc, are revolved by the rotating disc to the zenith while supported in the openings on the annular support plate and pass sequentially through the opening at the zenith into the shaft while being erected therein.
