Abstract: An airplane engine accessory box carrying an electrical machine such as an alternator, having a rotor that is guided in rotation in a bearing carried by a support part made of a material having a low coefficient of thermal expansion, itself carried by a stator cover that acts as a heat bridge between the body of the stator of the electrical machine and the casing of the accessory box.

Abstract: A device for driving auxiliary machines of a double-shaft turbine engine with an LP shaft and an HP shaft is disclosed. The machines are installed in an accessory gearbox which includes a common drive shaft. The device includes a differential gear with a first input shaft and a second input shaft and an output shaft. The first shaft being connected via a selective coupling either to the LP shaft or to the HP shaft, the second input shaft is connected to the HP shaft, and the output shaft being connected to the drive shaft of the gearbox.

Abstract: A device drives auxiliary machines by using power extracted from a multi-shaft gas turbine engine. The gas turbine engine may include a LP shaft and a HP shaft. The machines may be installed in a gearbox. The device may include a first mechanical transmission between the HP shaft and the gearbox. The device also may include a hydraulic transmission between the LP shaft and the gearbox. Further, the LP shaft connects a low pressure turbine to a low pressure compressor, the HP shaft connects a high pressure turbine to a high pressure compressor, and the low pressure compressor is upstream of the high pressure compressor.

Abstract: A system for driving first and second accessory machines of a double-bodied turbine engine with an LP shaft and an HP shaft is disclosed. The system includes a first power train disposed between the shaft of the HP rotor and the first machines, which mechanically drives the first machines, and a first coupling means and a second power train between the shaft of the LP rotor and the second machines arranged so as to drive the said second machines. The system also includes a second coupling means between the first power train and the second power train allowing the second accessory machines to be driven by the shaft of the HP rotor, particularly when the engine operates at high speeds. The system may include a gearbox with at least two speed ratios and the first coupling means may be arranged to selectively couple one or other of the two ratios or else to decouple the mechanical transmission from the shaft of the LP rotor.

Abstract: A device for measuring a torque between first and second coaxial shafts comprises a ring secured to one of the shafts and axially split so as to receive an axial key on the other shaft. The ring portions which are adjacent the key are operative to make the measurements and comprise flexible parts on which strain gauges are stuck.
