Abstract: A method and apparatus of for implementing a D2D service are disclosed. The method includes the UE receiving an indication to prohibit a transmission of a RRC connection request message for requesting a D2D dedicated resource for transmission. The method further includes the UE deciding whether to prohibit the transmission of the RRC connection request message at least based on the indication.

Abstract: An integrated fiber cement and foam cladding system is provided that incorporates foam or similar light weight material to improve the insulation capacity of the cladding system. The system includes at least a fiber cement layer and a foam layer disposed on the backside of the fiber cement layer. The system improves the R-value of the building, a measure of the building's resistance to transferring heat or thermal energy.

Abstract: A User Equipment in a wireless communication network includes a multiplicity of antennas, from which a subset of antennas is selected using a selection scheme synchronized to the network. A set of sub-carriers is selected from a plurality of sub-carriers using a selection scheme synchronized to the network. The UE receives a plurality of known reference symbols over the selected set of sub-carriers and through the selected subset of antennas. A frequency response for each selected sub-carrier is estimated over only the selected subset of antennas. The results are quantized and transmitted to the network on an uplink control channel.

Abstract: In a method for generating a data unit for transmission via a communication channel, wherein the data unit conforms to a first communication protocol, a preamble of the data unit is generated. The preamble includes a first field having information that indicates a duration of the data unit, the first field being formatted such that the first field is decodable by a receiver device that conforms to a second communication protocol but does not conform to the first communication protocol to determine the duration of the data unit based on the first field. Additionally, the preamble is formatted such that a portion of the preamble is decodable by a receiver device that conforms to a third communication protocol but does not conform to the first communication protocol. Also, the preamble is formatted such that a receiver device that conforms to the first communication protocol can determine that the data unit conforms to the first communication protocol.

By the composition of above structure, the universal trailer lock may applied to trailer couplers with different specifications for effectively prevent trailers from being stolen.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are described herein for generating and applying event data extraction templates. In various implementations, a set of structural paths may be identified from a corpus of communications. A first structural path of the set of structural paths, associated with a first segment of text, may be classified as transient in response to a determination that a frequency of occurrences of the first segment of text across the corpus satisfies a criterion. Event heuristics may be applied to the communications of the corpus. A determination may be made, based on the applying, that the communications of the corpus are event-related. An event data type may be assigned to the transient structural path based on the applying. An event data extraction template may be generated to extract, from one or more subsequent communications, one or more event-related segments of text associated with the transient structural path.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and embodiments related to analyzing the content of digital images. A computer extracts multiple sets of visual features, which can be keypoints, based on an image of a selected object. Each of the multiple sets of visual features is extracted by a different visual feature extractor. The computer further extracts a visual word count vector based on the image of the selected object. An image query is executed based on the extracted visual features and the extracted visual word count vector to identify one or more candidate template objects of which the selected object may be an instance. When multiple candidate template objects are identified, a matching algorithm compares the selected object with the candidate template objects to determine a particular candidate template of which the selected object is an instance.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a device in a network determines that a particular packet flow in the network is sensitive to packet reordering. The device determines whether a particular packet of the packet flow is to be routed differently than an immediately prior packet in the packet flow, in response to determining that the particular packet flow is sensitive to reordering. The device marks the particular packet as taking a different route than the immediately prior packet in the packet flow, prior to forwarding the marked packet and in response to determining that the particular packet is to be routed differently than the immediately prior packet in the packet flow.

Abstract: A broadband antenna is mounted aside a metal electronic element and includes a feeding portion, a first connecting portion, a second connecting portion, a coupling portion, and a ground portion. The first radiating portion and the second radiating portion are both connected perpendicular to the feeding portion. The coupling portion is spaced from the first radiating portion and the second connecting portion. The ground portion is connected perpendicular to a middle portion of the coupling portion and adjacent to the metal electronic element. These portions cooperatively use a low frequency mode and a high frequency mode. The ground portion increases an inductance performance of the broadband antenna, thereby decreasing interference caused by the metal electronic elements. A wireless communication device employing the broadband antenna is also disclosed.

The water drainage valve includes a linear control water drainage mechanism and a hydraulic water drainage mechanism controlled by a micro-immersible pump. The linear control water drainage mechanism includes a piston with the piston being partitioned into an upper and lower chamber by a central partition plate; the upper chamber is a piston control chamber for controlling the resetting of the piston, and the linear control water drainage mechanism controls the upward action of the piston; and the lower chamber is a water drainage fluid chamber for creating water pressure on the piston. More than one through hole is provided in the central partition plate to communicate with the upper and lower chambers partitioned by the central partition plate.

The protection layer is disposed on the metal oxide layer. Each of the source and the drain contacts the metal oxide layer through an opening of the protection layer. One side of the gate or one side of the metal oxide layer partially overlaps at least one of the openings. In addition, a display device is also disclosed.
