  • Publication number: 20100245229
Abstract: The present invention discloses a REPEATED-SCAN driving method, which applies to a field sequential color liquid crystal display, wherein each sequential-color cycle of the multiplex-scan signal has at least two stages of scans to increase the luminous fluxes of all colors of backlights and bring closer the total amounts of fluxes, whereby is achieved higher color saturation and better flux uniformity between the rows. Further, the method of the present invention controls the backlights to form dark stages between the intervals respectively of two different colors of the backlights and controls the dark stage to coincide with a color-mixing interval, which is caused by response delay of liquid crystal, to prevent from color distortion caused by color mixing. Therefore, the present invention can generate the pure colors and the designed derived colors accurately.

  • Publication number: 20100241068
Abstract: A vascular cannula assembly has a cannula, a tube dilator, a supporting helix and an inflatable cuff. The cannula has a distal end, a proximal end, a passage and a drainage segment. The drainage segment has multiple draining apertures communicating with the passage. A valve mounted on the distal end of the cannula can prevent air from entering the cannula. The tube dilator is selectively mounted in the passage and has a leading end and a handling end respectively protruding from the distal end and proximal end of the cannula. The supporting helix is mounted in the passage against the cannula. The inflatable cuff is mounted around the cannula between the distal end and the drainage segment. The side tubing is connected to the inflatable cuff. Since the inflatable cuff can be inflated to occlude blood draining from vena cava, use of the vascular cannula assembly can prevent injuries by snaring or looping of vessels during surgical procedures for cardiopulmonary bypass.

  • Publication number: 20100224217
Abstract: A semiconductor cleaning method and apparatus and a controlling method of semiconductor cleaning are disclosed. The developing method includes the following steps. A developing solution is applied onto a wafer having a photoresist layer. Next, the wafer is rotated to scatter the developing solution over the photoresist layer. Then, a nozzle upon the center of the wafer ejects a non-reactive liquid onto the photoresist layer for a time period. Next, the nozzle is moved in a radial direction of the wafer to at least one next location and then ejects the liquid onto the photoresist layer for at least one next time period. The wafer is then rinsed until the developing solution and the unnecessary photoresist dissolved in the developing solution are washed away and a patterned photoresist layer is revealed.

  • Patent number: 7791093
Abstract: In one embodiment, sub-micron size granules of TiO2, ZrO2, or other white colored non-phosphor inert granules are mixed with a silicone encapsulant and applied over an LED. In one experiment, the granules increased the light output of a GaN LED more than 5% when the inert material was between about 2.5-5% by weight of the encapsulant. Generally, a percentage of the inert material greater than 5% begins to reduce the light output. If the LED has a yellowish YAG phosphor coating, the white granules in the encapsulant make the LED appear whiter when the LED is in an off state, which is a more pleasing color when the LED is used as a white light flash in small cameras. The addition of the granules also reduces the variation of color temperature over the view angle and position over the LED, which is important for a camera flash and projection applications.

  • Publication number: 20100219739
Abstract: A LED light tube and its connector thereof are revealed. Each of two ends of the LED light tube is disposed with a LED light tube connector. The LED light tube connector includes a rotating base, two connector pins, a cover and a housing. The two connector pins are disposed on one end of the rotating base. The rotating base includes a first location adjustment structure and the cover has a second location adjustment structure. The rotating base is mounted in the housing while the cover is fixed on the housing. The rotating base rotates relative to the cover as well as the housing optionally so as to adjust the assembling between the first and the second location adjustment structure. Thus the two connector pins change from a first position to a second position and light from the LED light tube emits in a desired direction.
