Abstract: A pocket hole jig is provided, including a body with a first end having at least one drill entry port in communication with an internal drilling chamber, and a second, opposite end having a chip flute in communication with the drilling chamber; a distance adjustment base configured for contact with a workpiece and is configured so that said body is linearly slidable relative to said base for adjusting drill depth and drilling position of the workpiece; and a dust collector fitting removably attachable to, and in communication with the chip flute, at least one of the dust collector fitting and the chip flute being configured for accommodating a clamp for securing the jig to the workpiece.

Abstract: A band saw machine includes a machine frame unit with a longitudinal guideway, a cam follower movable along the guideway, a wheel mount movable with the cam follower between closer and remote positions relative to a first wheel mounted on the machine frame unit, a biasing member disposed to bias the wheel mount to the remote position, a second wheel mounted on the wheel mount, a band saw blade trained on the wheels, and an actuating shaft with a cam end which engages the cam follower. The wheel mount can be kept in the closer position with a friction force that counteracts the biasing force of the biasing member by turning the actuating shaft so as to permit replacement of the band saw blade.

Abstract: A workpiece guiding device for guiding a workpiece fed on a workbench of a working machine, such as a wood planing machine, includes a seat unit, an elongate guiding member having an abutment major surface to be in sliding contact with the workpiece, and a connecting major surface with an anchoring mount, a journal shaft disposed on the anchoring mount, and left and right clamping members disposed to be forced to abut against lateral surfaces of the seat unit and the anchoring mount to thereby hold the guiding member firmly on the workbench. The journal shaft is turnable on the clamping members to permit the guiding member to turn about a rotating axis. An angular position presetting member has a coupling portion rotated with the journal shaft, and an anchoring portion offset from the rotating axis. A retaining unit is disposed to releasably retain the anchoring portion on the clamping member.

A frame post is mounted under the table to be positioned on the ground surface An arcuate key slot is formed in the frame post such that the motor projects through the key slot to be guided therealong so as to retainingly turn the column between the two positions -A worm gearing mechanism includes a worm wheel segment and a worm that are respectively mounted to the column and the frame post and that are operable to turn the column.
