    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a robot compliance control method, system, and apparatus with parameter self-learning capabilities. The method includes constructing a joint dynamics model and a joint impedance control model for a robot to obtain an unknown dynamic model of the robot; constructing a Gaussian process with a structure consistent with the unknown dynamic model, denoted as a structure-consistent Gaussian process; constructing a training set based on a data optimization method, and training hyperparameters of the structure-consistent Gaussian process offline using the training set; observing a robot state in real-time, predicting an unknown dynamic model online, and outputting a Gaussian prediction value for the unknown dynamic model; outputting a control moment through a robot joint impedance controller and sending the control moment to the robot; and determining whether the robot has reached a desired position; if yes, ending; otherwise, continuing to observe the robot state.
