Publication number: 20260205766Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Groupcast vehicle-to-everything (V2X) messages may include a control portion (e.g., a sidelink control information (SCI)-1 or SCI-2) and a data portion. Proximity information may be provided through an indication of a zone identifier (ID) of the transmitting vehicle, which may be a 12-bit value with 6-bits that indicate the X-direction and 6-bits that indicate the Y-direction. Additionally, a destination ID for a V2X transmission may indicate a super-zone. The super-zone, combined with the zone ID, can unambiguously identify multiple zones associated with a transmission, such that wrap-around in adjacent zones based on zone ID alone will not prompt a receiving vehicle (e.g., a receiving UE or a receiving device) to report feedback to a transmitting vehicle (e.g., a transmitting UE or a transmitting device).Type: ApplicationFiled: February 20, 2023Publication date: July 16, 2026Inventors: Tien Viet NGUYEN, Hui GUO, Gabi SARKIS, Dan VASSILOVSKI, Qing LI, Kapil GULATI, Shuanshuan WU

Patent number: 12683746Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) are described. A first user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a second UE, sidelink control information (SCI) including an indication of resources and a number of spatial layers for a sidelink transmission. The first UE may perform spatial domain multiplexing (SDM) between the spatial layers. The first UE may transmit a first data packet associated with the first spatial layer from a first transmission reception point (TRP) and may transmit a second data packet associated with a second spatial layer from a second TRP. In some examples, the first UE may include a first and second stage of the SCI, such that the first SCI corresponds to shared information for all spatial layers and the second stage of the SCI corresponds to separate information for each spatial layer.Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 2020Date of Patent: July 14, 2026Assignee: Qualcomm IncorporatedInventors: Sourjya Dutta, Kapil Gulati, Shuanshuan Wu, Hui Guo, Junyi Li

Patent number: 12676709Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) with multiple transmission reception points (TRPs) (e.g., a multi-TRP UE) may receive sidelink control information including an interference measurement configuration indicating resources allocated for sidelink interference measurements across multiple TRPs. In some cases, the multi-TRP UE may decode the sidelink control information including the interference measurement configuration. The multi-TRP UE may receive one or more signals from a first UE, a second UE, or both. The multi-TRP UE may perform a sidelink interference measurement for each signal based on the interference measurement configuration. The multi-TRP UE may determine whether to process the signals in combination or separately across TRPs based on the sidelink interference measurements.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2020Date of Patent: July 7, 2026Assignee: QUALCOMM IncorporatedInventors: Sourjya Dutta, Kapil Gulati, Shuanshuan Wu, Junyi Li, Hui Guo, Gabi Sarkis

Patent number: 12656598Abstract: A raised cosine waveform is used for the drive signal input to an optical device that exhibits a nonlinear time domain response (e.g., tunable optical filter). The raised cosine waveform (either current or voltage) exhibits significantly fewer high frequency components than conventional drive signals and, as a result, reduces the oscillatory movements of the device as it is settling into a target position. In the specific example of a MEMS tilt mirror as used to tune a nonlinear optical filter, the raised cosine drive signal allows for the tilt mirror to quickly settle into a new position and avoid the prolonged oscillatory motion known to limit the responsivity of prior art tunable optical filters.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2023Date of Patent: June 16, 2026Assignee: II-VI DELAWARE, INC.Inventors: Michael Cahill, Glenn Bartolini, Hui Guo
