  • Publication number: 20180132816
Abstract: The imaging system includes a wire, a second signal transmission unit and a computer system. At least one first signal transmission unit is disposed on the wire which is configured to enter a blood vessel in a human body. The second signal transmission unit is disposed outside of the human body. The computer system is electrically connected to the second signal transmission unit. The first signal transmission unit emits a first signal, the second signal transmission unit receives the first signal, and the computer system generates a first image according to the first signal. The second signal transmission unit emits a second signal, and receives a reflection signal corresponding to the second signal. The computer system generates a second image according to the reflection signal, and merges the first image with the second image as a third image for rendering a position of the wire in the human body.

  • Publication number: 20130079660
Abstract: A method utilizing thermograph of a tear film for generating a quantified index includes steps of: capturing a set of tear film thermograph data, deriving parameters from the set of tear film thermograph data, and executing a synthesis calculation based on the derived parameters. The parameters include a temperature distribution of each tear film thermograph, a temperature fall tendency of an open-eye tear film during time variation, a type of a tear film break-up and an occurring time of the tear film break-up, and an upward drifting speed of a temperature color block in the tear film thermograph. The parameters represent the quantity of the aqueous volume of the tear and the stability of the tear film for establishing a reliability of an examination of a diagnosis of a dry eye disease without intruding into a testee's eye.

  • Publication number: 20080174733
Abstract: A method of using infrared thermal imager to diagnose eye diseases including the dry eye syndromeuses an infrared thermal imager to take the surface image of the eyeball of the patient. Temperature variation at a specific position of the cornea of the eyeball is precisely measured in a unit time. An attenuation coefficient K of a temperature dropping curve and a temperature difference ?T are obtained from the temperature variation. Optimized curves of K and ?T are provided for the doctor to diagnose the patient's eye disease.

  • Patent number: 5928153
Abstract: An ultrasound flow velocity and Doppler angle measurement method and system is provided for measuring the velocity and direction of a flow, such as the blood flow in a human body, in a non-contact manner through ultrasound means. In practical applications, this ultrasound flow velocity measurement method and system can be utilized, for example, in the field of physiological diagnosis for blood-flow velocity measurement to determine whether the patient suffers from blood vessel disorders, such as embolism and aneurysm. Precise measurement can be achieved through the use of just one set of ultrasound transducer in the system configuration; therefore, this ultrasound flow velocity measurement method and system is simpler in system configuration and more cost-effective to use than the prior art. Experimentation shows that the estimation has a standard deviation of less than 4.5.degree. for Doppler angle range from 45.degree. to 80.degree.. Therefore, the measurement results are trustworthy to use.

  • Patent number: 5782773
Abstract: A three-dimensional electrocardiogram display method for 3-D representation of a plurality of cardiac signals is provided. In this method, a 3-D rectangular coordinate system is defined to display the 3-D representation of the cardiac signals. Further, an amplitude display scheme, preferably an amplitude-to-color mapping table, is defined to assign various quantization levels of amplitude to specified distinctive colors. By graphic processing and display means, the 3-D representation of the cardiac signals can be generated and displayed. The physicians can choose to observe the 3-D graph in various views, including perspective view, sectional view, and top rectangular view. This allows the physicians to make diagnosis of heart diseases by observing just one or two 3-D representations of the cardiac signals. The physicians can thus have an overall integral view over a plentiful number of cardiac signals and thereby make diagnosis about the heart conditions of the patient more easily.
