  • Publication number: 20240257826
Abstract: In some examples, a non-transitory machine-readable medium is provided. The non-transitory machine-readable medium stores machine-readable instructions that, when executed by a processor of an electronic device, cause the processor to receive an audio signal over a time period, to detect audio events in the audio signal, to assign a distinct disruption score to each of the audio events, to calculate a running average of the disruption scores, and to cause a display device to display a quality score based on the running average, where the quality score is indicative of a perceived quality of the audio signal.

  • Patent number: 11810587
Abstract: In example implementations, an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a microphone, a radar, a memory, and a processor in communication with the microphone, the radar, and the memory. The microphone is to receive audio signals. The radar is to collect data on users in a location. The memory is to store known body positions associated with having a side-conversation. The processor is to determine that a user is having a side-conversation based on the data collected by the radar compared to the known body positions associated with having a side-conversation and filter noise associated with the side-conversation received by the microphone from a direction associated with the user.

  • Publication number: 20220350372
Abstract: An example non-transitory computer readable medium store a set of instructions when executed cause a controller of a computing device to determine a position of a lid portion of the computing device based on a first signal from a first sensor and determine movement of the computing device based on a second signal from a second sensor. The instructions when executed further cause the controller to transmit a command to a processor of the computing device in response to the determined position of the lid portion and the determined movement, the command to direct the processor to maintain a current operating state.
