Abstract: Provided is a method for preparing a polysulfone resin through segmented polymerization. The method includes: mixing a first halogenated monomer, a first phenolic monomer, a first alkali metal-containing substance, and a first solvent, and subjecting a resulting mixture to a first prepolymerization reaction to obtain a first prepolymer system; mixing a second halogenated monomer, a second phenolic monomer, a second alkali metal-containing substance, and a second solvent, and subjecting a resulting mixed material to a second prepolymerization reaction to obtain a second prepolymer system, wherein a molar ratio of the second halogenated monomer to the second phenolic monomer is in a range of 3:3.3 to 3:6, and the second halogenated monomer comprises a sulfonyl group; and subjecting the first prepolymer system and the second prepolymer system to salt removal and then a polymerization reaction to obtain the polysulfone resin.

A first seedling combing device is installed above the first belt seedling conveyor. Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) logs first UAV information at a first frequency. The UAV triggers a camera associated with the UAV to capture an image. In response to triggering the camera to capture the image, the UAV logs second UAV information at a second frequency that is higher than the first frequency. A device that is separate from the UAV identifies a location of the UAV corresponding to the image based on a capture timestamp of the image received from the camera, the first UAV information, and the second UAV information. The device generates a geo-rectified imagery based on the image and the location of the UAV.

Abstract: In an example embodiment, embeddings are used to securely search sensitive encrypted data stored in a database without the need to retrieve and decrypt all data in a volume. Specifically, a piece of text is embedded into an embedding, which is then stored in a vector database. Then the piece of text can be encrypted and stored in another database. A linkage between the embedding and the ciphertext can also be stored. When a search is performed, one or more keywords from the search can be embedded and the keyword embedding can be compared to the embeddings in the vector database to locate similar embeddings. The ciphertexts corresponding to those similar embeddings can then be retrieved from the other database and decrypted. The decrypted ciphertexts can then be searched based on the keywords to find exact matches.

Abstract: A controller for an isolated switching converter having a transformer, a primary switch and a secondary switch. The controller has an error amplifying circuit, a mode judgement circuit and a gate driver. The error amplifying circuit provides a compensation signal based on an output feedback signal and a reference voltage. The mode judgement circuit provides a mode signal to determine a first drive mode or a second drive mode based on a voltage across the secondary switch and the compensation signal. In the first drive mode, the secondary switch is turned on for a second ON-time by the gate driver after a current flowing through the secondary switch crosses zero. And in the second drive mode, the ON-state of the secondary switch is extended for an extended ON-time by the gate driver.

Precise locations information indicative of locations of the vehicle and captured by a high accuracy position receiver of the vehicle while the vehicle traverses the path are received from the vehicle. At least some of the precise locations information are associated with the landmarks. Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) data are received from a UAV. The UAV data include aerial images of the area captured by the UAV and UAV location information corresponding to the aerial images. A three-dimensional model of the area is generated based on at least some of the precise locations information and the aerial images.
